• Position this toy against the rails (on the inside of baby’s crib/cot) near the mattress.
Hint: For newborns, place this toy along a side rail where baby can easily hear and see it. For infants, place this toy near baby’s feet (within reach).
• Tie each fastener to fit snugly around
a crib/cot rail.

Note: It is better to tie the straps in a knot than a bow, since a bow may be easily untied.

• Slide the mode switch to: Learn , Short Tune , Music or Off .
• When baby kicks or presses the pig, cow or chick’s feet:
Listen to a fun sound, song or farm animal identified.
Baby enjoys a short tune.
Sing-along to original songs.
Hint: Baby enjoys an oink-oink, moo-moo or peep-peep with each kick in Short Tune or Music modes!
• Adjust the volume to high or low for your child’s comfort. The volume switch is located on the back of the toy. Simply open the fasteners to access the switch.
• Remove the toy from the crib/cot to extend play as baby grows!

For best performance, we recommend that you replace batteries that came with this toy with three, new “AA” (LR6) alkaline batteries.
• Open the fasteners on the fabric cover on the back of the toy.
• Loosen the screws in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the battery compartment door.
Hint: You may need to use the tip of the screwdriver to lift the battery compartment door.
• Remove the worn batteries and dispose of them properly.
• Insert three “AA” (LR6) alkaline batteries.
Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer battery life.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
• Press to secure the fasteners on the fabric cover.
• When sounds or lights become faint or stop, it’s time for an adult to change the batteries!
• Protect the environment by not disposing of this product with household waste (2002/96/EC). Check your local authority for recycling advice and facilities (Europe only).

In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your toy. To avoid battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the toy. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of the product in a fire. The batteries inside may explode or leak.
• Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.
• If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision.

• Hand wash the fabric cover in cold water with a mild detergent. Do not use bleach. Line dry. Do not machine wash or place in a dryer.
• Surface clean the plastic toy by wiping it with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the plastic toy.
• To remove the fabric cover, open the fasteners on the back of the toy. Push both tabs, one at a time, toward the unlock position pull the plug(s) on the fabric cover from the front of the plastic toy. Remove the fabric cover.
• To replace the cover, first place the plastic toy into the fabric cover. Then, fit and snap the plugs (one at a time) on the fabric cover into the slots in the plastic toy. You should hear a “click”. Pull gently on the fabric cover to be sure it is attached to the plastic toy.
• Press to secure the fasteners on the back of the toy.
