Front Legs

• Position the base so that the bottom is upright.
• Fit both front legs to the bottom of the base, as shown.
• Insert two screws into the front legs and tighten.

• “Snap” the microphone holder to the side of the assembly.

Rear Legs
• Fit both rear legs to the front legs, as shown.
• Insert four screws into the rear legs and tighten.
• Set the assembly upright.

• Set the microphone into the micro­phone holder.

Battery Replacement
For best performance, we recommend replacing the batteries that came with this toy with three, new alkaline “AA” (LR6) batteries.
• Locate the battery compartment on the back of the toy.
• Loosen the screw in the battery compartment
and lift to remove it.

• Insert three, new “AA” (LR6) alkaline batteries.
Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer battery life.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw.
• When lights or sounds become faint or stop, it’s time for an adult to change the batteries!
• Protect the environment by not disposing of this product with household waste (2002/96/EC). Check your local authority for recycling advice and facilities.

"AA" (LR6)
In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your toy. To avoid battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the toy. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of the product in a fire. The batteries inside may explode or leak.
• Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.
• If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision.

Press the guitar, keyboard, drum or horn to hear a solo by that instrument.
Build an Instrumental Song
Shake the microphone for fun phrases or "scatting."

3. Press the guitar, keyboard, drum or horn to add that instrument to the song. Press again to take that instrument out of the "mix."
Hint: The microphone only activates sounds when the music stops.
Off – Slide the switch when you are finished playing with this toy.

Hint: Rattle sounds from other objects or toys may activate music and lights.
