Note: A plastic tab is attached to the toy for in-store demonstration
purposes. Pull and remove the plastic tab from the back of the
xylophone. Throw the plastic tab away.

In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak fluids that can cause
a chemical burn injury or ruin your product. To avoid battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types:
alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove
exhausted batteries from the product. Dispose of batteries safely.
Do not dispose of product in a fire. The batteries inside may explode
or leak.
• Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before charging.
• If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be
charged under adult supervision.

For best performance, we recommend replacing the batteries that
came with this toy with three, new alkaline “AA” (LR6) batteries.
• Locate the battery compartment on the back of the xylophone.
• Lift the hanger off the battery compartment door.
• Loosen the screws in the battery compartment door and remove
the battery compartment door.
• Insert three “AA” (LR6)
the battery compartment.
Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer
battery life.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screws.

Take Along Xylophone
3 Ways to Play!
Volume Switch
• Slide the volume switch on back of the xylophone to high
or low , for your child’s comfort.
• Press the button on the neck of the xylophone and pull to
remove it from the top or bottom of the arch.
• “Snap” both hangers back onto the back of the xylophone.
Mode Switch
• Slide the mode switch to I. Baby can press the xylophone keys
or bat at the hanging toys for about five minutes of music.
• Slide the mode switch to
a song.” Each time you press, you hear part of a song. Press
again to hear more.
• Slide the mode switch to
xylophone keys to hear individual notes.
• When you are finished playing with this toy, slide the mode
switch off
