Battery Compartment Door
• Locate the battery compartment on the back of the toy.
• Loosen the screw in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the battery compartment door.
• Insert three “AAA” (LR03) alkaline batteries, as indicated inside the battery compartment.
Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer battery life.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw with a Phillips screw­driver. Do not over-tighten.
• When sounds become faint or stop, it's time for an adult to change the batteries!

Battery Safety Information
In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak fl uids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your product. To avoid battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the product. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of the product in a fi re. The batteries inside may explode or leak.
• Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before charging.
• If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision.

Take the Show on the Road!
• Insert the ROM cartridge into the slot in the microphone.
• Locate the voice volume switch on the back of the toy.
• Slide the voice volume switch on the back of the toy to either on with low volume or on with high volume .
Hints:
- This switch controls the volume of your
voice. Set to the off position to listen to music only.
- If you hear feedback or distortion, slide
the voice volume switch to low volume.

• Rotate the power/volume dial to turn the microphone on.
Hint: This dial controls the volume of the music. Turn the dial off when you are fi nished playing with this toy.

• Press the play/pause button to start the music and start singing. Press again to pause.
• Press the track forward button to move ahead to the next song on the ROM cartridge.
• Use the volume/power dial to adjust the music volume.
Hint: You can also sing without music by removing the ROM cartridge.
