PLAYING A GAME
1. Before each shot, the computer (your caddy) suggests a club for you to use. You can choose a different club by pressing up or down on the “CLUB” button.
2. Press the [ON•STROKE] button to start the swing.
3. Press the [ON•STROKE] button to terminate your backswing. (“OVERSWING” makes the ball go farther, but reduces the accuracy of the shot).
4. Press the [ON•STROKE] button a third time when you want to make contact with the ball. Hitting a [Fade] will make the ball travel to the right, while a [Draw] will make the ball travel to the left. Using these shots is helpful when there is a strong sidewind.
5. When putting, use the same approach as a normal swing, except the computer will show a “tic” mark where you should terminate your backswing. The “tic” mark will vary depending on the length of the putt. The closer you are to the “tic” mark, the more accurate your putt will be.
6. The [Mulligan] button can be used to replay your shot only in the Practice Round mode.
7. Press the [Score Card] button to view your total score.
8. Refer to the course guide booklet for an overhead view of each hole.
