WARNING
To prevent child from climbing out of crib, do not attach this
product to crib rail once child can sit up unassisted or can
pull to a standing position.
CAUTION
• Always attach all provided fasteners (strings, straps,
clamps, etc.) tightly to a crib or playpen according to
the instructions. Check frequently.
• Do not add additional strings or straps to attach to crib
or playpen.

For best performance, we recommend replacing the batteries that
came with this toy with three, new alkaline “C” (LR14) batteries.
• Locate the battery compartment door on the back of the toy.
• Loosen the screw in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver.
Remove the battery compartment door.
• Insert three "C" (LR14) alkaline batteries.
Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer life.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screws with a Phillips
screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.

Battery Safety Information
In exceptional circumstances, batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical
burn injury or ruin your product. To avoid battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types:
alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted
batteries from the product. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of this
product in a fire. The batteries inside may explode or leak.
• Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before charging.
• If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged
under adult supervision.
Attaching to a Crib
Mattress
• Position the toy against the crib rails near the mattress.
Hint: For newborns, place the toy along a side rail where baby can
easily hear and see it. For infants, place the toy near baby's feet.
• Tie each string tightly around a crib rail.
Hint: It is better to tie the strings in a knot rather than a bow, since a bow
may be easily untied.
•You can easily remove the toy from the crib rails for floor play!
• Locate the power/volume knob on the front of the toy.
• Turn the knob to either on with low volume ; or on with high volume .
• Turn the knob to the off position when not in use.
• Locate the mode switch on the back of the toy.
• Slide the mode switch to I, 2 or 3.
Soothing Music, Lights and Motions
Choose this mode for about 10 minutes of gentle music, soft lights and peek-a-boo
birdie motion. Baby can press any key to restart.
Build a Song
Baby is rewarded when pressing or kicking keys. Each time a key is pressed, part of
a song plays with lights and motion. Press again to hear and see more.
Sit and Play
When baby can sit up without help, place the toy on the fl oor. Press the keys to hear
notes and create music along with lights and motions!
• When sounds, lights and motion from this toy become faint, slow or stop, it’s time
for an adult to change the batteries!

solution. Do not immerse this product.
