TOY BATTERY INSTALLATION
• Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the toy.
• Loosen the screws in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the battery compartment door.
• Insert four "C" (LR14) alkaline batteries.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
Hints:
-We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer life.
- When this toy stops working or works erratically, it’s time to replace the batteries! Under normal use conditions, the batteries in the toy will require replacement more often than the battery in the remote controller. When you notice that the toy does not respond to the remote controller, try replacing the batteries in the toy before replacing the battery in the remote controller.

BATTERY INSTALLATION
• Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the remote controller.
• Loosen the screw in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the battery compartment door.
• Insert one 9V (6LR61) alkaline battery.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer life.

BATTERY SAFETY INFORMATION
Batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your toy. To avoid battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
•Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the toy. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. The batteries may explode or leak.
•Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
•Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.
• If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision.

TO THE RESCUE!
To prevent entanglement, keep hair away from wheels.
Play safely! Do not operate toys in the street.

• Place any Rescue Heroes™ figure (not included) in the seat and place their hands on the handlebars.
• Press the power button on the bottom of the toy to turn it on.
• Press the button on the remote controller and the toy moves forward with sounds and lights!
• Press the button on the remote controller and the toy spins clockwise with sounds and lights!
• Press and hold the button in the center of the remote controller to convert from a patrol cycle to a "wheelie popping"rescue cycle. Press and hold the button again to switch back.

Mute Button
• Press the mute button on the bottom of the toy to turn off the sound effects. Press it again to turn them back on.
Hints:
• When you are finished playing, remember to press the power button on the bottom of the toy to turn it off.
• The toy will automatically turn off (sleep mode) if it does not receive a signal from the remote controller for about a minute. To turn the toy back on, simply press the power button on the bottom of the toy.
TO THE RESCUE!
IMPORTANT!
• This toy works best on smooth, hard surfaces. We do not recommend use on grass, loose dirt or wet surfaces.
• For best performance:
- Hold the remote controller with antenna upright.
- Make sure the remote controller and the toy are in direct line of sight,
free of obstacles.
- Do not operate this toy around other remote control (RC) toys operating
on the same frequency.
• If the toy operates erratically or does not respond to the remote controller, move the toy closer to the remote controller. If the toy still fails to respond to the remote controller, it’s probably time for an adult to replace the batteries.
• In the unlikely event that use of the remote controller interferes with normal use of other remote controlled equipment, such as televisions and stereos, or use of other electric or battery powered appliances interfere with operation of the toy, do not use both appliances at the same time.

CARE
• To clean, wipe all parts with a damp cloth. Never immerse the remote controller or toy.
• Keep water, sand and dirt off of this toy.
• Keep this toy away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
• Do not drop this toy on a hard surface.
• This product contains no consumer replaceable parts. Do not take this toy apart.
