Requires one 9 volt (6LR61) and three “AA” (LR6) alkaline batteries (not included).
Adult assembly is required for battery installation.
Tool required for battery installation: Phillips Screwdriver (not included).
To prevent strangulation, never place product in a crib or playpen where baby
could become entangled. NEVER add strings or ties to the product.

• Turn the dashboard face down. Open the fasteners on the cover to locate the battery compartment on the dashboard.
• Loosen the screws in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the battery compartment door.
• Insert three “AA” (LR6) alkaline batteries.
• Close the battery compartment door and tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
Remote Control
• Loosen the screws in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the battery compartment door.
• Snap the contacts of a 9V (6LR61) alkaline battery to the contacts inside the battery compartment.
• Close the battery compartment door and tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.

Setup
• Slide the power/volume control switch on to low volume . The system is now active for approximately two hours.
• Press the lion to hear a short song. Adjust the volume to a comfortable listening level for your child by either:
- keeping the switch on low volume .
- sliding the switch to high volume .
• Re-fasten the fasteners on the cover.
Hints:
- Although the system is active, unless the dashboard is playing music or sound effects and lights are twinkling, only a very small amount of battery power is being used.
- If the toy is not used for more than two hours, it turns off automatically. To reactivate the toy, simply press the lion.
Power/ Volume Control Switch
Batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your toy. To avoid battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Insert batteries as indicated on the battery compartment door.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the toy. Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. The batteries may explode or leak.
• Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
• Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.
• If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision.
