•Turn the jet upside-down, and place it on a flat surface.
•Position the rear wheels so that the tabs are toward the nose of the jet.
•Insert and “snap” the plug on the rear wheels into the openings near the tail of
the jet.

•Position the jet upright.
•Insert and “snap” the tail wing tabs into the slots in the tail of the jet.
•Insert and “snap” the pegs on the canopy into the holes in the cockpit.
DECORATION
Proper label application will help to keep the labels looking their best!
•Make sure the areas where the labels will be applied are clean and dry. Wipe this toy with a clean, soft, dry cloth to remove any dust or oils.
• For best results, do not attempt to apply a label more than once.
• Apply the labels as shown in the illustrations.

• Loosen the screw in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver and remove the battery compartment door.
•Insert three “AA” (LR6) alkaline batteries.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw with a Phillips screw­driver. Do not over-tighten.
•When lights or sounds from this toy become faint or stop, it’s time for an adult to change the batteries!
Battery Safety Information
Batteries may leak fluids that can cause a chemical burn injury or ruin your toy. To avoid battery leakage:
• Do not mix old and new batteries or batteries of different types: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
•Insert batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment.
• Remove batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the toy (product). Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. The batteries may explode or leak.
•Never short-circuit the battery terminals.
•Use only batteries of the same or equivalent type, as recommended.
• Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy (product) before charging.
• If removable, rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision.

• Slide the connector on the back of the figure into the groove in the seat back in the jet cockpit.
•Turn the mission dial near the back of the jet to select a mission.
•Press the talk button to hear the figure talk about the mission.
Hint: If a Mission Select
Rescue Heroes™figure is not fully inserted into the cockpit, press-
ing the talk button on the top of the jet will result only in jet engine sounds and lights.
