Let’s Go!
• Some of the tools on the tool menu are not available for use in some activities or games. If a tool is not available for use,you will hear a tone.
• Please keep this manual for future reference,as it contains important information.
IMPORTANT! If the tip of the stylus and the image on screen do not align, it’s time to calibrate them! Please refer to page 44, Calibrating the Stylus.
Before inserting a software cartridge, turn power off! Insert the
software cartridge into the software port. Turn power back on.

Math Adventure
• Login or choose an activity on the screen.
• Touch your choice on the screen with the stylus.

• Touch the flashing box in the lower right corner with the stylus.
• Touch New Player in the lower left corner with the stylus (go on to page 5).

• Touch your name on the screen with the stylus (go on to page 8).

• Choose upper or lower case letters and a color for your name.
• Touch the abc button on the screen with the stylus to choose upper case letters; touch again for lower case letters.
• Touch the color palette on the
screen with the stylus.
• Touch each letter of your name on the keyboard with the stylus.
• Touch the smiley button on the screen with the stylus when you’re done!

• Choose a level. Touch your choice on
the screen with the stylus.
Compare amounts. Compare capacity. Compare money.
• Look at the screen and listen to
the question.
Hint: If you'd like to hear what is on each cart, use the stylus to touch below SpongeBob or Patrick.

Connect-the-Dots
• Help SpongeBob blow bubbles to make a picture.Touch SpongeBob on the screen with the stylus.
• Touch the flashing bubble on the screen with the stylus.

• Touch each flashing bubble on the screen with the stylus to finish the picture.
• Then, use any of the tools on the tool menu to draw and paint on your picture: “Pencil”Tool , Straight Line ,Shape Maker , Stamp It , Magic Wand Eraser or Special Effects Selector .
Hint: When you finish your picture,you can Erase It ; Erase All ; Save It or touch Home on the tool menu to return to the Home Screen.
• Touch the flashing bubble on the screen with the stylus to connect them.

• Choose a level. Touch your choice on the screen with the stylus.
Measure with items around Bikini Bottom.

Hint: In this activity, you will not automatically advance to the next level.

- There is a measurement tool or ruler on the left side of the screen.
- There are three items on the screen to the question on the bottom of the screen.
- There is a repeat button in the question box on the bottom of the screen.
- Your score is in the upper left corner of the screen.

Tell Time
• Choose a level. Touch your choice on the screen with the stylus.
Time measured in half hour interval. Time measure in quarter hour interval. Time measured in five minute intervals.
• Look at SpongeBob’s P.D.A. (Personal
Digital Assistant). Help SpongeBob set an alarm for each item on his schedule.
• Touch an item on the screen with
the stylus.

• Touch the clock on the top of the screen that has the same time as the clock on the bottom of the screen.
• Touch your choice on the screen with the stylus.
Good job – you chose the correct time. You score points. Now, choose another item on SpongeBob’s schedule.

• Oops, try again.Touch the clock on the top of the screen that has the same time as the clock on the bottom of the screen.

• After setting the alarm for all of the items
on SpongeBob’s schedule, it’s time for a bonus game!
• Match three bubbles to score bonus points.
• Look at the screen.
- There are different kinds of bubbles in the rows on the top of the screen.
- There are two bubbles above SpongeBob and Patrick’s bubble blowers.
• You need to match the bubbles on the bubble blowers to the bubbles on the top of the screen.
Bonus Time!
• Touch the lower portion of the bubble blowers with the stylus to drag them into position.
• Touch the top portion of the bubble blower with the stylus to release the bubbles.

• It’s a match! You get one point per bubble.
Hint: Your score is located in the upper left corner of the screen.
• After you make a match – all of the matched bubbles disappear. You score points!

• When a row of bubbles fills, or if all of the bubbles on the top rows are gone – the bonus game is over.Look at how many bonus points you scored!

• Write a song and then make a music video. Let’s look at the screen.
• There are four different types musical notes or fun sound effects to choose at the top of the screen.You will place the notes on the music track.

• If you’d like to write a different composi­tion, touch the Clear button .

Calibrating the Stylus

IMPORTANT!The mark made on your screen from the stylus and
the location of the tip of the stylus may not align.When this happens, you need to calibrate the stylus.

Calibration Hole
• Turn Pixter® power on. Wait until you see the Home Screen.
• Turn Pixter over and locate the calibration hole.
• Insert, push and hold the stylus in the calibration hole.Turn Pixter® over so that you can see the screen.
• When you see two , remove the stylus from the calibration hole.
• First touch the in the upper left corner with the tip of the stylus.
• Then, touch the in the lower right corner with the tip of the stylus.
Hint: After calibrating your screen, the contrast resets to the mid-level. To change the contrast on the screen, touch the Save It! tool.

• Keep water, sand and dirt off of this cartridge.
• Keep this cartridge away from direct sunlight and excessive heat.
• Do not immerse the cartridge. Simply wipe the outside of the cartridge with a cloth to clean.
• This cartridge has no consumer serviceable parts. Please do not take this cartridge apart.
