Crib Use
Crib Attachment
• Position the toy on the inside of the crib rails near the mattress.
• Wrap each fastener strap snugly around a crib rail and secure.

• Open the fasteners on the back of the toy.Locate the power/volume switch on the sound and light box.
• The switch has three positions: off ; on with low volume and on with high volume .
• Close the fasteners on the back of the toy.
• Press the nose for music and lights.
Hint: If your child is not actively playing with this toy,it turns off automatically (sleep mode).
• Slide the power/volume switch to the off position when not in use.

Fold It Up!
For take-along fun, fold up the toy and attach the fasteners on each side as shown.
• Place the zebra on the floor for tummy­time play.
• Press the nose for music and lights.

For best performance, we recommend
replacing the batteries that came
with this toy with three, new alkaline
“AAA” (LR03) batteries.
• Open the fasteners on the back of the toy.
• Remove the sound and light box from the clips inside the toy.
• Loosen the screw in the battery compart­ment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the battery compartment door.
• Remove the batteries and throw them away.
• Insert three “AAA” (LR03) alkaline batteries, as indicated inside the battery compartment.
Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer life.
• Close the battery compartment door and tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
• Fit the tabs on the sound and light box into the slots in the clips inside the toy.
• Close the fasteners on the toy.
• When sounds, or lights from this toy become faint or stop, it’s time for an adult to change the batteries!

• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Remove the batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the toy. Battery leakage and corrosion can damage this toy. Dispose of batteries safely.
• Do not dispose of batteries in a fire. The batteries may explode or leak.
• Never short circuit the battery terminals.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended in the “Battery Replacement” instructions are to be used.
• If removable rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before they are charged.
• If you use a battery charger,it should be examined regularly for damage to the cord, plug, enclosure and other parts. Do not use a damaged battery charger until it has been properly repaired.

Care
• Open the fasteners on the back of the toy and remove the sound and light box from the clips inside the toy.
• Place the toy in a pillowcase and machine wash cold on a gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. Line dry the toy.
• Fit the tabs on the sound and light box into the slots in the clips and close the fasteners on the toy.
• Do not immerse the sound and light box.
