Tool required for battery replacement: Phillips screwdriver (not included).

• Locate the battery compartment cover on the bottom of the teapot lid.

• Loosen the screws in the battery compartment cover with a Phillips screwdriver.
(The screws will remain in the cover.)

• Lift the battery compartment cover to open.

• Remove the used batteries and dispose of them properly.

• Insert two, new button-cell (LR44 or equivalent) alkaline batteries as indicated
inside the battery compartment. Make sure the flat side of each battery (printed
with the battery designation) faces up.

Helpful Hint: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer
battery life.

• Replace the battery compartment cover and tighten the screws with a Phillips
screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.

This product contains small parts.

Batteries must be replaced by an adult.
