IMPORTANT! You must remove the sounds and light unit from this toy before washing.
• Open the fastener flap on the back of the toy to locate the sounds and light unit.
• Pull firmly to remove the sounds and light unit from the toy.
• Place the toy in a pillowcase and machine wash cold on gentle cycle. Do not use bleach.
• Line dry.
• After drying, fit the sounds and light unit back into the toy.
• Close the fastener flap.

• Open the fastener flap on the back of the toy to locate the sounds and light unit.
• Loosen the screw in the battery compartment cover using a Phillips screwdriver. (The screw will remain in the cover.)
• Lift to remove the battery compartment cover.
• Insert three, new “AAA” (LR03) alkaline batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment.
Helpful Hint: We recommend use of alkaline batteries for longer battery life.
• Fit the tab on the bottom of the battery compartment cover into the slot in the battery compartment and close the cover.
• Tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
• When sounds or light from this toy stop working or work erratically, it’s time for an adult to replace the batteries!
Batter y Tips:
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix different types of batteries: alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium).
• Remove the batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the toy. Battery leakage and corrosion can cause damage. Dispose of batteries safely.
• Never short circuit the battery terminals.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended in the “Battery Installation” instructions are to be used.
• If removable rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the toy before they are charged.
• If you use a battery charger, it should be examined regularly for damage to the cord, plug, enclosure and other parts. Do not use a damaged battery charger until it has been properly repaired.

IMPORTANT! Should the light bulb become non-functional, you are advised to remove and replace it. This should be carried out away from the child’s sleep or play area.
• Loosen the screw on the light bulb cover using a Phillips screwdriver.
• Twist the light bulb cover counter­clockwise and lift to remove.
• Remove and properly discard the light bulb. Beware of cracked or broken glass.
• Replace the light bulb with a new PR7 (or equivalent) light bulb.

• Open the fastener flap on the back of the toy to locate the sounds and light unit.
• Pull firmly to remove the sounds and light unit from the toy.
• Fit the sounds and light unit back into the toy.
• Close the fastener flaps.

• To replace the light bulb cover, fit the slots on the light bulb cover onto the pegs on the sounds and light unit.
• Twist the light bulb cover clockwise to secure it in place.
• Replace the screw and tighten with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
