Transmitter is electrically powered.
Crib soother is powered by three “D” alkaline batteries (not included).
Remote control receiver is powered by the AC adaptor (included, plugs
into standard household outlets 120V AC). Remote control receiver
also runs on battery power (9V alkaline battery - not included).
Adult assembly is required.
Tool needed for assembly: Phillips screwdriver.

CAUTION
IMPORTANT!
• This product is not intended to be used as a medical monitor and its use should not replace adult supervision.
• Test sound reception of remote control receiver before first-time use and whenever you change location of transmitter.
• To prevent entanglement:
- Never place transmitter in a crib or playpen. Keep transmitter
and remote control receiver out of baby’s reach.
- Never use extension cords with the AC adaptor.
• Never use transmitter, crib soother or remote control receiver near water (ie.: bathtub, sink,laundry tub or wet basement, etc.).
• Always use transmitter, crib soother and remote control receiver where there is adequate ventilation.To prevent overheating, keep transmitter, crib soother and remote control receiver away from heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, direct sunlight, stoves, amplifiers, or other appliances which produce heat.
• Never attempt to modify this product.
• Always be sure the transmitter channel switch is set to the same channel as the remote control receiver.

Attach to baby’s crib and select calming vibrations, sea shore sounds or both! Activate by pressing the soothing button on the remote control receiver, transmitter or the crib soother. Requires three “D” (LR20) alkaline batteries for operation.
IMPORTANT! Make sure the transmitter channel switch is set to the same channel switch as the remote control receiver.

• Fit the bolt into the slot on the back of the crib soother.
• Insert the screw into the hole in the crib soother,as shown.
• Fit the lock nut, rounded side out, into the hexagonal opening on the crib soother,as shown.
• Tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.
Remote Control Receiver Battery Installation (Optional)

• Locate the battery compartment door on the back of the remote control receiver.
• Loosen the screw in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screw­driver.Lift to remove the battery compartment door.
• Snap the terminals of a fresh, 9V alkaline battery into the remote control receiver connectors.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.

• Locate the battery compart­ment door on the back of the crib soother.
• Loosen the screws in the battery compartment door with a Phillips screwdriver. Lift to remove the battery compartment door.
• Insert three “D” alkaline batteries as indicated inside the battery compartment.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screws with a Phillips screwdriver. Do not over-tighten.

Hint: When battery power is too low,vibrations/sounds may not shut off or may not function properly as described in these instructions. Remove and replace all three batteries with three, new “D”(LR20) alkaline batteries.
Battery Tips
• Remove the batteries during long periods of non-use. Always remove exhausted batteries from the product. Battery leakage and corrosion can damage this product. Dispose of batteries safely.
• Do not dispose of the batteries in a fire.The batteries may explode or leak.
• Never short circuit the battery terminals.
• Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
• Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended in the “Battery Installation” instructions are to be used.
• If a removable rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be charged under adult supervision.
• Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the product before they are charged.
• If you use a battery charger,it should be examined regularly for damage to the cord, plug, enclosure and other parts. Do not use a damaged battery charger until it has been properly repaired.
• We recommend the use of alkaline batteries for longer battery life.
