IV. SPECIAL DRIVING
CONTROLS & FEATURES
STANDING START
Set your vehicle on the ground, leaning on one of its side stabilizers. Push the left stick forward to drive straight ahead.
LAUNCH-START
Hold your vehicle steady on the ground (keeping your fingers clear of the wheel hubs). Gently guide your vehicle forward while pushing the left stick forward.
“SCREECHING” STOP
While driving forward, quickly jam the left stick back. Your vehicle will brake to a quick stop with one of its side stabilizers on the ground.
GLIDE-STOP
While driving forward, release the sticks. Your vehicle will glide to a stop with one of its side stabilizers on the ground.
TURNING CIRCLE
Your vehicle’s normal turning circle is about 30/9m. For tighter circles, try
steering in the direction of the turn while pulsing the left stick forward. (This may take a little practice!)
BREAKAWAY RIDER FIGURE
Dont operate your vehicle without the breakaway rider figure attached: the vehicle wont balance properly without it. The figure is designed to break away on impact. To reattach the figure, snap the figure into the seat, then rotate into upright position as shown.
