Let go of arm and car will
race off down the track.

When car slows down, press down on pit
gate lever to raise entry gate which will
guide car into pit stop. Then release gate
lever; if 2nd car is following 1st car, it will
automatically be pushed back onto track
when pit gate lever is released. Lower
charger arm to allow car into charging area.

PERFORMANCE TIPS
You can tell wben car is fully
charged when it won't rev
any faster.
You don't always have to
charge for 10 seconds.
Sometimes 5 seconds is
enough to get you back in
the race quickly.
Too much charge may
cause car to crash or zoom
off track

TO STABILIZE SET:
r . On smooth floor, tape
base to surface.
Do not run cars on shag carpet, dirt or wet surfaces. If cars take longer
than 10 seconds to charge, replace batteries. Do not immerse in water.
Use only on the floor or on HOT WHEELS track.

RACING TIPS
. RACE 'EM
Use multiple cars to simulate a real Daytona 500
race. Each racer chooses 2 or 3 cars.The
winner isthe racerwith the most cars left on the
track after a set time period.Crashed cars are
removed.
. TIME 'EM
Do Pole Position runs where each racer runs 20
laps.The player with the fastest time wins.
. PASS 'EM
The excitement is in passing other cars.Try to
keep track of number of laps run or how many
times you pass or lap another car.
. CRASH 'EM
Each racer uses multiple cars.The racerwho
gets the most cars on the track prior to any
crashes wins.

For best performance, use alkaline batteries
CAUTION:
1. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged.
2. Rechargeable batteries are to be removed from the product
before they are charged.
3. If removable rechargeable batteries are used, they are only to be
charged under adult supervision.
4. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable
(nickel-cadmium) batteries.
5. Do not mix old batteries and new batteries.
6. Only batteries of the same'or equivalent type as recommended
areto beused. -
7. Be sure to insert batteries with the correct polarities and always
follow the toy and battery manufacturers' instructions.
8. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the product.
9. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited.
10. Dispose of batteries safely.
CAUTION: Vehicles each contain a rechargable cell. If fluid leaks,
avoid contact with eyes and discard vehicle.

return the product along with proof of the date of purchase, postage prepaid, to

91744 for replacement or refund at our option. This warranty does not cover
damage resulting from accident, misuse or abuse. VALID ONLY IN U.S.A.
