120-WATT SOLID STATE FM-STEREO RECEIVER With FIELD EFFECT TRANSISTORS (F.E.T.)
FOUR-DIODE Control in the completely eliminates an absolutely loojproof circuit that completely eliminates nuisance triggering (mono stereo) caused by spurious signals. Tection: At 1 kHz, separation is more than 40 db.

MATIC OVERLOAD PROT
Here is the first all-solid-state receiver to incorporate every known and desirable engineering advancement in transistor design. In addition, it utilizes several entirely new circuits that were developed for and are now used exclusively in aerospace technoloov.
The result is truly unique—an instrument without an equal in performance and ease of operation. The magnificent new control panel features a 24-carat gold-plated casting with contrasting walnut-textured and anodized panel sections, assuring 'new' appearance virtually for life.
The Fisher 700-T has 120 watts of music power (IHF), and employs twenty-two low-level and power silicon transistors, including revolutionary silicon Field Effect Transistors (F.E.T.)
The FM front end, utilizing low-noise F.E.T. transistors, has two stages of RF amplification, six tuned circuits, and a four-gang variable capacitor. Through the use of this outstanding circuit, Fisher engineers have increased the sensitivity of the tuner section to its theoretical limit. The 700-T not only receives very weak signals, but makes it possible to enjoy 'problem' stations that, on ordinary receivers may have been blanketed by stronger signals, or were 'hidden' in noise. Four IF stages, three limiters and a wideband ratio detector have been incorporated for maximum freedom from noise and interference.
The time-division multiplex section has an exclusive Four-Diode Coincidence Circuit to eliminate triggering caused by spurious
signals. Only the true stereo signal can trip the mono-stereo switch. The renowned Fisher STEREO BEACON* automatically signals the presence of a stereo broadcast, and automatically switches to the mono or stereo mode. Exclusive TUNE-O-LITE dial pointer permits accurate tuning even in a poorly lighted area.
The exclusive GUARD-O-MATIC Overload Protection Circuit prevents damage caused by shorting of speaker leads.
A full complement of tone controls and switches are logically grouped on the front panel to afford complete ease of operation. The new Baxandall-type feedback networks in the dual bass and dual treble controls remove all possibility of 'boom' or harshness as caused by conventional controls. The six-position Program Selector (TAPE HEAD, PHONO, FM AUTO, FM STEREO, FM MONO, AUX) permits the widest range of source material. The five-position Mode Selector (MONO, STEREO FILTER, STEREO, STEREO TAPE , TAPE L, TAPE R) provides a host of conveniences for maximum listening pleasure. One may select a mode for the amplifier section and playback from tape decks or a tape recorder. Its last two positions, Tape L and Tape R, permit playback of each of the four tracks of a monophonic tape through both loudspeakers simultaneously.
In its design, circuitry, appearance, high power, and performance, the Fisher 700-T appears destined to become the most wanted receiver since the advent of the all-in-one component. It will set the standard for years to come. *Patent Pending
THE FISHER 700-T is the only receiver with walnut-grained surface to blend with any decor. And it sounds as great as it looks.
