Strings should be replaced when they become dirty, discolored, or produce a dull sound. Change one
string at a time to maintain the string tension on the neck. You can change your guitar strings in six
easy steps:

1. Remove the old string.
Retirez l’ancienne corde.
2. Thread the new string through the
hole in the back of the bridge.
Faire passer la nouvelle corde par le trou

3. Ball end of strings are retained by the bridge.
L’embout sphérique des cordes est retenu par le chevalet.
4. Feed the end of the string through the hole in the tuning
peg. Leave some slack.
Faire passer l’extrémité de la corde dans le trou de la
clé d’accordage. Laissez du jeu.
5. Bend the end of the string and tighten it by turning the
tuning peg.
Courbez l’extrémité de la corde, puis serrez la en tournant la
clé d’accordage.
6. Trim the excess string with wire cutters.
Coupez la corde qui dépasse avec un coupe-fil.

There are three ways to tune your guitar:

1. Use a piano keyboard
. Play the keys one at a time, and tune each corresponding string.

2. Use an electronic tuner. An electronic tuner listens to each string, one at a time, and indicates
graphically if the pitch is too high or too low.

3. Tune the guitar to itself: relative tuning.

string: First, tune the 6th string to an E on a piano or a keyboard, or any other
instrument that is already in tune.
