SAFETY INFORMATION
WARNING
To Reduce the Risk of Fire
1. Do not place any objects such as furniture, papers, clothes and curtains
closer than 3 feet to the front of the heater and keep them away from
the sides and rear when the heater is plugged in.
2. Do not place the heater near a bed because objects such as pillows or
blankets can fall off the bed and be ignited by the heater.
3. Always unplug the heater if it is not being used.
4. Avoid the use of an extension cord because the extension cord may
overheat and cause a risk of re. However, if you have to use an
extension cord, the cord should be N014 AWG minimum size and rated
not less than 1875 watts.
WARNING
This product contains a chemical known to the State of California to
cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
CAUTION Risk of Fire
Keep combustible materials such as furniture, papers, clothes and
curtains at least 0.91m/3ft from the front of the heater, and away
from the sides and rear. Attach base before using.

PREPARATION
Unpack the heater making sure that all items are present and that there are no components left in the box and that the
heater head is free from packing material. If any parts are missing, please contact Customer Service at (866)-985-7877,
Monday-Friday, 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. EST or email at cservice@welltraveled.net.
SAFETY
• Children of less than 3 years old should be kept away
unless continually supervised.
• Children aged from 3 years old and less than 8 years
old shall only switch on/off the appliance provided
that is has been placed or installed in its intended
normal operating position and they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children aged from 3 years old and less than
8 years old shall not plug in, regulate and clean the
appliance or perform user maintenance.
• CAUTION: Some parts of this product can become
very hot and cause burns. Particular attention has to
be given where children and vulnerable people
are present.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from
8 years old and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of
experience and knowledge if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the
appliance in a safe way and understand the
hazards involved.
• Children shall not play with appliance. Cleaning and
user maintenance shall not be made by children
without supervision.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
Only use the halogen heater on a rm solid horizontal area
where all feet on the base are in contact with the oor.
(Should the heater become tilted or fall over the auto shut-off
switch will activate.)
1. Site the heater outside or in a large open area and well
away from an obstructions such as branches or where
the heater is near any objects that can be effected by
heat, such as furniture, curtains, or other inammable
objects (minimum distance 1m/3.28ft).
2. Do not use near bath tubs, wash areas, or swimming
pools.
3. Do not use in unventilated areas
4. Do not use where gas, petrol, paint, or other inammable
goods are stored.
5. Do not push any items through, obstruct, or cover the
grill of the heater head.
6. Do not position immediately above or below an
electrical socket.
7. Do not move when connected to an electrical supply
and always wait for the patio heater to cool down before
storing away.
8. Do not touch the heater when in use.
9. Do not leave turned on and unattended especially when
children and or animals are in the vicinity.
10. The indication of the different positions of switches shall
be visible from a distance of 1m/3.28ft.
11. The marking concerning covering shall be visible after
the heater has been installed. It shall not be placed on the
back of portable heaters.
12. The unit must be placed with the clearance of 1m/3.28ft
to the wall.
13. The unit must be correctly installed according to the
instructions.
14. The unit must be securely placed on a horizontal and at
surface.
15. The unit is at high-temperature during operation. It
keeps hot for a period after shut-off. Potential danger
would occur when touching it during this period.
16. Don’t place the unit close to curtain and/or other
ammable objects or there will be danger of catching re.
17. Don’t cover the unit with anything during operation or a
short time after its shut down.
18. Don’t wrap the power supply cord on the unit.
19. The unit must be handled with care, and avoid vibration
or hitting.
20. The unit must be securely grounded during operation.
21. If the unit gets damaged, it must be repaired by
professional electricians.
22. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualied
persons in order to avoid a hazard.
23. When assembling, keep clear from any type of
ammable material.
24. The unit must be supervised by adults if it’s used by a
child.
25. The unit is for household use only. It is not safe to use
on a building site, greenhouse, barn or stable where
there’s ammable dust.
26. The head of the unit is at high-temperature during
operation. Unplug the unit and wait till it cools before
cleaning.
27. Don’t use this unit in place where causticity or volatile
air exists, i.e. dust, stream, gas, etc.
28. Don’t use this unit as a clothes dryer or towel dryer.
29. Don’t use this unit as a sauna heater.
30. Don’t use this unit as a room heater. This heater is not
equipped with a device to control the room temperature.
Do not use this heater in small rooms when they are
occupied by persons not capable of leaving the room on
their own, unless constant supervision is provided.
31. Don’t use this unit in place of animal propagating and
raising.
32. Don’t immerse this unit into water for cleaning.
33. This unit should be plugged in a socket, which is easily
visible and reachable.
34. One dark point may exist on the surface of the heating
elements during the rst few minutes after it is turned on.
This is normal, and will not affect the performance of the
unit.
35. WARNING! In order to avoid overheating, do not cover
the heater.
36. Do not use this heater with a programmer, timer,
separate remote control system or any other device that
switches the heater on automatically, since a re risk
exist if the heater is covered or positioned incorrectly.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
OPERATION
Connect the power cable to 12.5 amp supply that is located in a safe, dry area.
• The switch on the heater is used to control the Heating. The (I) is on or 1000W and the (O) is OFF.
• Although the patio heater is waterproof, do not use when raining or in wet conditions.
• Always disconnect the power cable from the electrical supply when the patio heater is not in use.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
• Unplug the heater and let it cool completely.
• To keep this unit clean, the outer shell may be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. You may use a mild detergent if necessary.
After cleaning, dry the unit with a soft cloth.
• DO NOT use alcohol, gasoline, abrasive powders, furniture polish, or rough brushes to clean the heater. This may cause
damage or deterioration to the surface of the heater.
• Although the heater is outdoor approved, DO NOT immerse the heater in water for your safety.
• Wait until the unit is completely dry before use.
• Any maintenance or repairs including replacing the halogen tube should only be carried out by a qualied electrician or
by a recommended service center.
STORAGE
If the heater will not be used for a long period of time, store it in a cool, dry location when not in use. To prevent dust and dirt
build-up, use the original packaging to repack the unit.
TROUBLE SHOOTING
If this unit does not operate properly, please check the following before repair or service:
• Check if the power cord is plugged into an electrical outlet; if not, plug in.
• Check if electricity to the main fuse is working.
• Make certain the power switches are turned on. If not, choose a setting.

All components are warranted for a period of 1 year after date of purchase by
the original owner against defects in materials and workmanship under normal
use. This warranty does NOT cover normal wear and weathering, assembly and/
or maintenance OR use in a commercial application if model is not designated
as a commercial model. At Well Traveled Living’s sole discretion, products under
warranty will be repaired and/or replaced at no charge to the customer. Any
returns sent back to Well Traveled Living must be sent via prepaid freight and
in the original retail packaging.

receipt, date of purchase and catalogue/model numbers available when calling.
All warranty service will be coordinated by the Well Traveled Living’s, Amelia
Island, Florida service center.
This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser. Proof of purchase will
be required before warranty service is rendered. The sales receipt is the only valid
proof of purchase. This warranty only covers failures due to defects in materials
or workmanship which occur during normal use. Failures and/or damage which
result from accident, negligence, misuse, abuse, neglect, mishandling, alteration
or modication, failure to maintain, improper assembly or maintenance, service
by unauthorized agency or use of unauthorized components or damage that is
attributable to acts of God are NOT covered.
This limited warranty gives you specic legal rights and you may also have other
rights which vary from jurisdiction to jurisdiction. The provisions of the United
Nations Convention on Contracts for the Sales of Goods shall not apply to this
