ANY REASON WHATSOEVER, just return the product to your
dealer, and the dealer will refund your money. “PLEASE” do
not use this product if you cannot follow these instructions.

FURNISHED WITH THE APPLIANCE.
FOLLOW ALL SAFETY AND SET UP PROCEDURES!
These instructions are intended as a general guide and do not
supersede national or local codes in any way. State or local
codes may only allow operation of this appliance in a vented
configuration. Check your state or local codes. Authorities
having jurisdiction should be consulted before installation.

The position of the gas logs is critical to the safe and clean
operation of this appliance. Sooting and other problems may
result if the gas logs are not properly, and firmly positioned on
the appliance.

This appliance is supplied with ten ( 10 ) decorative gas logs.
Handle all gas logs with care and, it is our recommendation
that you use gloves during the set up procedures.

1- Place Log # IFG-2401-CD, along the left side of the grate/burner assembly, making sure to index the bottom of the log, along
the grate tine.

2- Place Log # IFG-2402-CD ( Log # IFG-3002-CD for 420 series ) along the rear of the grate/burner assembly, making sure to
index the locator on Log # IFG-2401-CD, and the grate tine, on the right rear of the appliance.

3- Place Log # IFG-2404-CD on the front right side of the grate/burner assembly, making sure to index the front, right two ( 2 )
grate tines, and the valve mounting bracket.

4- Place Log # IFG-2403-CD ( Log # IFG-3003-CD for 420 series ) diagonally across the center of the set, making sure to index
the locator on Log # IFG-2402-CD ( Log # IFG-3002-CD for 420 series ), and the top of the grate leg and tine on the front left
of the appliance.

5- Place Log # IFG-2406-CD on the top right side of Log # IFG-2402-CD ( Log # IFG-3002-CD for 420 series ) and Log # IFG-
2404-CD, making sure to index the log, to the locators on the two ( 2 ) base logs.

6- Place Log # IFG-2405-CD across the center of the set, making sure to index the locators on rear Log # IFG-2402-CD ( Log #

front right Log # IFG-2404-CD.

grate/burner assembly, behind Log # IFG-2410-CD.

HOW TO ORDER REPAIR PARTS
Parts may be ordered only, through your service person or dealer. For the best results, the service person or dealer should order parts through the
distributor. Parts may be shipped directly to the service person/dealer. All parts listed in the PARTS LIST have individual PART NUMBERSand
descriptions. When ordering parts, first obtain the Model Number from the name plate on your equipment; then determine the PART NUMBER (not the
Index Number) and the part description of each part from the parts list. Be sure to include all of this information.

This Limited Warranty does not cover any failures or
operating difficulties due to accident, abuse, misuse,
alteration, misapplication, vandalism, improper
installation or improper maintenance or service, or failure
to perform normal and routine maintenance.
Deterioration, discoloration due to heat, or damage due
to severe weather conditions such as hail, hurricanes,
earthquakes, tornadoes, discoloration due to exposure
to chemicals ( including salt ), either directly or in the
atmosphere, or very high humidity, is not covered by this
Limited Warranty.
LIMITED WARRANTY
firegear hereby warrants to the ORIGINAL
PURCHASER of this firegear Decorative Gas Log Set,
that it will be free from defects in material and
workmanship from the date of purchase as follows:
Refractory Gas Logs 5 years
Revolution Burner 2 years
Grate 5 years
All other parts ( safety pilots, valves, regulator, etc ), are
warranted by the original manufacturer, when assembled
and operated in accordance with the accompanying
printed instructions.
firegear may require reasonable proof of your date of
purchase. YOU SHOULD RETAIN YOUR SALES SLIP
OR INVOICE AND RETURN THE WARRANTY
REGISTRATION CARD WITHIN 10 DAYS OF
PURCHASE.
This Limited Warranty shall be valid and limited to,
the original purchaser only, within the confines of
the original site installation.
WARNING: Any modification to this heater or its controls will
void the warranty!
This Limited Warranty shall be limited to the repair
and/or replacement of parts that prove defective under
normal use and service and which on examination shall
indicate, to firegear’s satisfaction, that they are
defective. Before returning any parts, contact firegear
Customer Service Center. If firegear confirms the defect
and approves the claim, firegear will replace such parts
without charge. If you are required to return defective
parts, transportation charges must be prepaid. firegear
will return parts to the purchaser, freight or postage
prepaid.
There are no other express warranties except as set
forth herein and any applicable implied warranties of
merchantability and fitness are limited in duration to the
period of coverage of this express written Limited
Warranty. Some states do not allow limitation on how
long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not
apply to you.
firegear is not liable for any special, indirect or
consequential damages. firegear’s liability is limited to
the purchase price of this firegear Decorative Gas Log
Set. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation
of incidental or consequential damages, so this limitation
or exclusion may not apply to you.
firegear does not authorize any person or company to
assume for it any other obligation or liability in
connection with the sale, installation, use, removal,
return, or replacement of its equipment; and no such
representations are binding on firegear.
This Warranty applies only to products sold at retail and
