Congratulations on your purchase of the Pellet-Q450™ Pellet Grill! When unpacking, check to make sure all parts are included and not damaged due to shipping. If any part is missing or broken, please call Customer Service at 800-745-6109 as soon as possible.

About Your Grill
BBQ made easy! Pellet grills, also called pellet smokers, are a great for those seeking the convenience of gas grills but love wood­smoked BBQ avor. Your Pellet-Q is fueled with all-natural hardwood pellets, available in avors such as Hickory, Apple, and Mesquite.
Simply load up the grill with pellets, set your desired cooking temperature between 180

Pellet grills are one of the easiest types of smoker to use. These cookers feed wood pellets onto a small burner via an auger. Cooking Temperatures
We recommend slow cooking from 225 275, roasting and baking from 300- 400, and searing from 450℉ - 500℉.

Apple Wood:

Control Panel Overview: A. On/O Switch: Turns the grill on and o. B. Pellet Prime: With a full Pellet Hopper, press this button to turn the auger
until you hear pellets fall into the burn pot.
C. Temperature Control: Press up or down to change temperature in 5 degree increments. D. LED Display: Shows current temperature and other information. E. FIRST TIME USE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Assemble grill as described in this m anual.
2. Open Pellet Hopper Lid and ll with food-grade wood pellets.
3. Open Cooking Chamber Lid.
4. Plug in grill.
5. Press On/O Switch (A) on your AccuTemp™ Digital Control to turn on grill.
6. Set temperature to 400°F using Temperature Control Buttons (C).
7. When pellets begin to smoke, close Cooking Chamber Lid. Allow Grill to run for at least 40 minutes before putting any food in Cooking Chamber.
8. Press On/O Switch (A) to turn o grill and initiate cool-down sequence. The grill Light (H) will blink indicating that grill is performing cool-down sequence. Once one grill Light (H) has stopped blinking it is safe to unplug grill.
9. ALWAYS allow grill to perform its cool-down sequence before unplugging.
SUBSEQUENT START-UPS
1. Open Pellet Hopper Lid and ll with food-grade wood pellets.
2. Open Cooking Chamber Lid.
3. Press On/O Switch (A) on your AccuTemp™ Digital Control to turn on grill.
4. Set temperature to your desired setting using the Temperature Control buttons (C).
5. The Igniter will heat up and Grill Light (H) will blink indicating that Igniter is on. The Fan will begin to blow and Auger Motor will begin to turn and deposit pellets into Firepot. The Igniter will turn o automatically and Grill Light (H) will stop blinking when grill reaches an appropriate temperature.
6. When pellets begin to smoke, place food on Cooking Grates, close Cooking Chamber Lid.

7. When food is nished cooking, press On/O Switch (A) to turn o grill and initiate cool-down sequence. The Grill Light (H) will blink indicating that grill is performing cool-down sequence. Once Grill Light (H) has stopped blinking it is safe to unplug grill.
8. ALWAYS allow grill to perform its cool-down sequence before unplugging.
NOTE: If the re does not light within 30 minutes, the AccuTemp™ control will shut down grill. If this happens, please refer to Troubleshooting section on pages 18-19.
About the AccuTemp™ Digital Control
Your Pellet-Q450™ is powered by a cutting-edge AccuTemp™ Digital Control. The AccuTemp™ monitors temperatures inside the cooking chamber via an RTD temperature probe and adjusts pellet-ow and airow into the Firepot to achieve your set temperature. You may notice the AccuTemp™ digital display showing temperatures slightly higher or lower than your set temperature. This is normal, the temperature will stabilize quickly as the AccuTemp™ works to adjust the pellet-ow and airow.
Cooking Tips
The Pellet-Q450™ is extremely versatile because it can cook anywhere between 180°F - 500°F. This large range allow you to cook almost anything, from classic slow-cooked BBQ to re-baked pizzas, to seared steaks and burgers. We recommend slow-cooking from 225°F ­275°F, roasting and baking from 300°F -400°F, and searing from 450°F - 500°F. After each use and the grill has cooled o, we recommend cleaning the Cooking Grates, Heat Diuser Plate, Firebox, and Grease Bucket to ensure best operation of the grill. We highly recommend cover­ing the grill with a high-quality grill cover because parts of your grill are not waterproof.

Meat Probe Instructions
Your Pellet-Q450™ includes a high-quality Meat Probe used to determine you food’s internal temperature without opening your grill’s lid. To use the Probe:
1. Plug Meat Probe in Meat Probe Jack (G) on your AccuTemp™ Digital Control.
2. Start grill per SUBSEQUENT START-UP Instructions on pages 15-16.
3. Press Probe Display (F) button on your AccuTemp™ Digital Control until Meat Light (H) is illuminated. NOTE – Probe Display (F) button and Meat Light (H) are disabled if Meat Probe is not connected to AccuTemp™ Digital Control.
4. Press Temp Display (E) button until Set (H) light is illuminated. Set your meat’s done cooking” internal temperature by using Temperature Control buttons (C).
5. When pellets begin to smoke, place food on Cooking Grates.
6. Insert Meat Probe into your food and close Cooking Chamber Lid.
7. Press Temp Display (E) button until Actual (H) light is illuminated. The AccuTemp™ Digital Control will now display internal temperature of your food.
8. Press Probe Display (F) button on your AccuTemp™ Digital Control to toggle between grill temperature and meat temperature. The Grill (H) light illuminates when AccuTemp™ Digital Control displays grill temperature and Meat light (H) illuminates when AccuTemp™ Digital Control displays meat temperature.
9. When food reaches your set “done cooking” internal temperature, the AccuTemp™ Digital Control automatically reduces grill to a minimal temperature to prevent over cooking and shows DONE on digital display. At any point during cooking, you can modify grill or meat temperatures.
10. Clean Meat Probe using warm water but NEVER submerge Probe in water. Submerging Probe could damage Probe and void your FireCraft warranty.

Pellet Exchange™ Instructions
The Pellet Exchange™ makes changing pellets quick and easy. Simply place a suciently-sized empty bucket beneath the rear of the Pellet Hopper. Loosen the thumb-screw on the Pellet Exchange™ door and remove the door. Allow the pellets to empty into the bucket. Replace the Pellet Exchange™ door and tighten the thumb screw. See page 5 for pellet avor suggestions!
Caring for Your Grill
Your Pellet-Q450™ will provide years of cooking enjoyment with proper care and maintenance. After each use and the grill has cooled o, we recommend cleaning the Cooking Grates, Heat Diuser Plate, Firebox and Grease Bucket to ensure best operation. We recommend covering the grill with a high-quality grill cover because parts of your grill are not waterproof. Once per month, we recommend wiping down the outside surfaces of the grill and the RTD Temperature Probe located in the Cooking Chamber with a warm wet cloth. Cleaning the RTD Temperature Probe ensures that your grill functions as intended. We recommended cleaning the “y-ash” or excess pellet dust out the bottom of the cooking chamber every 3-5 uses of the grill.
Troubleshooting:
AccuTemp™ Digital Control displays “ER-1”:
The grill is overheated and shut down or there is an open connection between the grill control and the grill. Shut down the grill and allow it to cool while adhering to the procures in the Operating Your Grill section of this manual. Clean the Cooking Grates, Heat Diuser Plate, Firepot and Grease Bucket.
AccuTemp™ Digital Control displays “ER-2”:
The grill failed to ignite within 30 minutes of turning on the grill or the grill is unable to keep the re lit. Check to ensure the Pellet Hopper has sucient pellets. Next, shut down the grill

and allow it to cool while adhering to the procures in the Operating Your Grill section of this manual. Next, clean the Firepot. Next, check to ensure Igniter is getting hot but NEVER touch the Igniter. If Igniter is not getting hot, contact your dealer or FireCraft.
AccuTemp™ Digital Control displays “ER-3”:
Power failure during grill operation. Check to ensure grill is plugged in and check for power-fail­ures in your home. If grill is plugged in and there is no power failure in your home, contact your dealer or FireCraft.
AccuTemp™ Digital Control displays “ER-4”:
RTD temperature Probe short. Contact your dealer or FireCraft.
Grill will not turn on:
Check to ensure grill is plugged in and check for power-failures in your home. Next, replace the AccuTemp™ Digital Control Fuse located on the rear side of the AccuTemp™ Digital Control. If grill is plugged in, there is no power failure in your home, and you replaced the fuse, contact your dealer or FireCraft.
Grill will not maintain set temperature:
Check to ensure the Pellet Hopper has sucient pellets. Next, shut down the grill and allow it to cool while adhering to the procures in the Operating Your Grill section of this manual. Clean the Cooking Grates, Heat Diuser Plate, Firepot and Grease Bucket. If error still occurs, contact your dealer or FireCraft.

FireCraft® Limited Warranty
Your FireCraft® Pellet-Q450™ is covered by the following Limited Warranty provided exclusively by FireCraft, Inc., 1028 Saunders Lane, West Chester PA 19380.
This Limited Warranty is the only warranty made in connection with your purchase. FireCraft neither assumes nor authorizes any vendor, retailer or other person or entity to assume for it any other obligation or liability in connection with this product or Limited War­ranty. This Limited Warranty does not apply and is not cumulative to any accessory or part distributed by FireCraft for which the Manufacturer provides a separate written warranty.
This Limited Warranty covers the FireCraft Pellet-Q450 (products) manufactured for FireCraft, INC. Products carry a three (3) year Limited Warranty from the date of purchase by the original owner against defects in mate­rial and workmanship. Electronic and electrical compo­nents carry a two (2) year replacement warranty when subjected to normal residential use. Limited Warranty does not apply to Firepot, Grill Grate, Meat Probe, RTD Probe, or damage caused by corrosion.
Conditions of Limited Warranty
During the term of the Limited Warranty, FireCraft's obligation shall be limited to replacement of covered, failed components, F.O.B. point of shipment. FireCraft will repair or replace parts returned to FireCraft, freight prepaid, if the part(s) are found by FireCraft to be defec­tive upon examination. FireCraft shall not be liable for transportation charges, labor costs, or export duties.
Except as provided in this CONDITIONS OF LIMITED WARRANTY, repair or replacement of parts in the manner and for the period of time stipulated hereunder shall constitute the fulllment of all direct and derivate liabilities and obligations from FireCraft to you.
The Warranty coverage begins on the original date of purchase as stated on the sales receipt. Warranty Regis­tration and proof of original date of purchase is required to validate the Limited Warranty. Repair or replacement of the FireCraft component does not extend the Limited Warranty. Pouring hot liquids on or in your FireCraft product will void this warranty. Any modication including holes, screws, and any other sheet metal changes to the product will void this warranty.
FireCraft takes every precaution to utilize materials that retard rust. Even with these safeguards, the material can be compromised by various substances and conditions beyond FireCraft control. High temperatures, excessive humidity, chlorine, industrial fumes, fertilizers, lawn pesticides and salt are some of the substances that can aect metals and metal coatings. For these reasons, the Limited Warranty DOES NOT COVER RUST OR OXIDATION, unless there is a loss of structural integrity on the grill
component. Should any of the above occur, refer to your Owner’s Manual maintenance section for nish protec­tion. FireCraft recommends that you purchase a FireCraft full length protective cover for your grill when not in use. The Limited Warranty is based on residential use. Warranty coverage does not apply to products used in commercial applications.
Exceptions to the Limited Warranty
There is no written or implied performance warranty on FireCraft Products as the manufacturer has no control over the installation, operations, cleaning, maintenance or the type of fuel burned. This Limited Warranty will not apply if your product has not been installed, operated, cleaned and maintained in strict accordance with the manufacturers instructions. Burning anything other than FireCraft-approved premium grade BBQ wood pellets may void the Warranty. The Warranty does not cover damage or breakage due to misuse, improper handling or modications.
NEITHER THE MANUFACTURER, NOR THE SUPPLIERS TO THE PURCHASER, ACCEPTS RESPONSIBILITY, LEGAL OR OTHERWISE, FOR THE INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGE TO THE PROPERTY OR PERSONS RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT. ANY WARRANTY IMPLIED BY LAW, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANT-ABILITY OR FITNESS, SHALL BE LIMITED TO ONE (1) YEAR FROM THE DATE OF ORIGINAL PURCHASE. WHETHER A CLAIM IS MADE AGAINST THE MANUFACTURER BASED ON THE BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF WARRANTY EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED BY LAW, MANUFAC­TURER SHALL IN NO EVENT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL OR OTHER DAMAGES OF ANY NATURE WHATSOEVER IN EXCESS OF THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OF THIS PRODUCT. ALL WARRANTIES BY MANUFACTURER ARE SET FORTH HEREIN AND NO CLAIM SHALL BE MADE AGAINST MANUFACTURER ON ANY ORAL WARRANTY OR REPRESENTATION.
Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations of implied warranties, so the limitations or exclusions set forth in this Limited Warranty may not apply to you. This Limited Warranty gives you specic legal rights and you may have other rights, which vary from state to state. The Limited Warranty for three (3) years is in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, at law or otherwise, and FireCraft does not authorize any person or representative to assume for FireCraft any obligation or liability in connection with the sale of this product. This means that no warranties, either expressed or im­plied are extended to persons who purchase the prod­uct from anyone other than FireCraft or an authorized FireCraft Dealer or Distributor.
