1. Identify all fixtures. Look for labels
located:
2 labels - 1 at each end of box (or bag)
1 label - box top (or bag top)
1 on fixture (permanent)
2. Keep plastic bags ON for protection. T8
lamps may be turned on with the bags on.
T5 and T5-HO lamps get too hot - remove
bags before turning lamps on.
3. Lay out fixtures starting with ID: 1, then
ID: 2, etc.
4. Hang STARTER fixture ID: 1. Secure both
ends to mounting aircraft cable and level.
5. Hang far end of JOINER ID: 2 while
supporting both ends.
6. Join ID: 1 and ID: 2 by attaching plug
together wiring, screwing fixtures together.
NOTE: See additional mounting and joining
instructions for each Finelite Series.
Hang fixtures in ID order. Hang prior to joining.
Hang, Level, Join, repeat to the end of the run.

STEP 1.
Follow Finelite
instructions to install STARTER
fixture.
STEP 2.
Hold JOINER fixture up
to wall. Connect plug-together
wiring.
STEP 3. Slide JOINER into
STARTER fixture.
STEP 4.
Secure fixtures together
with two joiner 10/32 screws
(provided) to complete
connection. FIGURE B.
STEP 5
. Secure JOINER fixture
to wall studs as described in
installation instructions.
FINAL CHECK-FIGURE B.
• Plug together wiring is
connected.
• Two 10/32 screws have been
installed between fixtures.
Repeat for remaining JOINER and
ENDER fixtures to complete row.
STEP 1. Follow Finelite instructions to
install Mounting Bracket and STARTER.
STEP 2. Hold JOINER fixture up to wall.
Raise JOINER slightly above Mounting
Bracket and holding fixture parallel to wall,
slide fixture straight down to engage top
and bottom edges in mounting bracket.

STEP 3. Connect plug-together wiring. Slide
JOINER into STARTER fixture.
STEP 4. Secure fixtures together with two
joiner 10/32 screws (provided) to complete
connection. FIGURE B.
STEP 5
. Insert one 8/32 rack adjustment
screw (provided) on each side of joint and
thread into Mounting Bracket. Tighten
/loosen to level fixture. FIGURE C.
FINAL CHECK-FIGURE C.
• Plug together wiring is connected.
• Two 10/32 screws have been installed
between fixtures.
• Top and bottom of fixture and Mounting
Bracket are correctly engaged. Rack
adjustment 8/32 screws (inside) are secure.
Repeat for remaining JOINER and ENDER
fixtures to complete row.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO JOIN FIXTURES TOGETHER ON THE FLOOR. DAMAGE MAY RESULT WHEN LIFTED.

INSTRUCTIONS
1. Position fixture on wall in desired location.
Mark on wall the point where the endcap
and the fixture body meet. This is Point A.
Remove fixture.
2. Determine feed location by measuring a
horizontal line 4.5″ from Point A toward
center of fixture, then 1.75″downward.
Mark this spot for feed.
3. Install 4″x2″
J-Box centering box over feed
location and align top of box with Point A.
Leave 8-10″ of power wire exposed.
4a. Measure a horizontal line from Point A to
the opposite end of the fixture (or run) and
mark the wall at the center of each stud and
at the end of the fixture (or run). This marks
the top of the fixture (or run).
4b. At each support location that is not secured
into a stud (usually ends) drill hole 1.25″
down from top of fixture. Use a molly style
fastener at end(s) if stud is not available.
5. Remove reflector and lamps. Position
fixture on wall level with marks made in
Step 4a. Secure to wall at each end and at
each stud.
6. Make splice in feed, reinstall reflector and
lamps.
