UV-500C Features
The high intensity ultraviolet light attacks airborne mold, bacteria, and viruses. The high efficiency filter traps
allergens, dust, and pollen. The carbon filter removes odors and attacks VOCs (volatile organic compounds).
LEAVE THE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS WITH THE OWNER/OPERATOR OF THE DEVICE.
AFTER OPENING THE CARTON, UNPACK AND INSPECT THE UNIT AND LAMP FOR DAMAGE.
DO NOT INSTALL THIS UNIT IF ANY DAMAGE IS NOTICEABLE.

FEATURES

UV-500C SET UP PROCEDURE
Remove the lamp from the top carton pad. 1.
Remove the lamp connector from the bagged parts provided. 2.
Remove the UV-500C from its protective plastic bag. 3.
WARNING: DO NOT PLUG INTO WALL OUTLET!

Connect the UV lamp to the lamp connector knob. (See Figure 1) 4.

Clean the lamp with the alcohol swab provided. (See Figure 2)5.
NOTE: Dirt and fingerprints will reduce lamp output
and effectiveness.
Open the lamp access door on the back of the unit.6.

Insert the ceramic tip of the lamp into the UV port and twist the 7.
lamp connector clockwise to lock in place. (See Figure 3)
With unit still UNPLUGGED, insert the lamp power connector 8.

Close the access door and install the access door screw 9.
