Thank you for purchasing the EvenAir System from Field Controls. The EvenAir products are compatible with any HVAC system having accessible 24VAC terminals.

The TSRC is factory set to address #2 and can be used as a second sleeping area temperature sensor when used with the TSER temperature sensor.

Installation
Can be installed on any interior wall using the subbase provided or set on a table top using the table top adapter provided.
WIRELESS THERMOSTAT OVERVIEW
Press the touchscreen with your fingertip only, using a firm touch. Do not use a sharp object such as a pen or pencil.

The touchscreen is a resistive touch and responds differently than touch screens found in smart phones/devices.

HOMEOWNER
This manual is separated into two different sections: one for the Homeowner and one for the System Installer. The Homeowner section contains information on features and operation of the thermostat along with
optional user settings available to the homeowner.

FEATURES
AUTOMATICALLY UPDATES COOLING SETPOINT
When the system is in Cool or ECool and the setpoint temperature is adjusted on the TSRC remote control, the new setpoint is automatically updated on the EvenAir thermostat. Similarly, when the setpoint temperature is adjusted on the EvenAir thermostat, the setpoint is automatically updated on the TSRC remote control.

CONTROL WHOLE HOUSE FAN OR ECONOMIZER USING 1-12 HOUR BUILT-IN TIMER
If control of a whole house fan or economizer was set to Timer Control during installation, turning ECool ON starts the timer in the thermostat and operates the whole house fan or economizer for the time set by the user in the thermostat (see Homeowner section in T32 or T32WF Thermostat Manual)
CONTROL WHOLE HOUSE FAN OR ECONOMIZER USING TEMPERATURE CONTROL
If control of a whole house fan or economizer was set to Temperature Control during installation, the whole house fan or economizer will be activated if ECool is ON, the space temperature is above the setpoint temperature, and the outdoor air temperature is cool enough to provide cooling. The whole house fan or economizer will automatically turn off to save energy if the room temperature drops below the setpoint temperature.
If your whole house fan or economizer installation requires windows to be opened during operation,

be sure the windows are open before selecting the ECool mode on the TSRC remote control or thermostat.

CONTROL BY TIMER
ECooling will start when ECool is turned ON and will remain on until the timer expires or when ECool is turned OFF, which turns the HVAC system OFF.
CONTROL BY TEMPERATURE
ECooling will start when ECool is ON, the space temperature is above the setpoint temperature, and the outdoor air temperature is cool enough to provide cooling. ECool will automatically turn off if the room temperature drops below the setpoint temperature.

The Home Number only needs to be changed if two installations are within 300 feet of one another. The Home Number selected in the remote control must be the same as the Home Number selected in the EvenAir T32 Thermostat.

Calibrate Indoor Temperature
The indoor temperature is factory set to +/- 1F. If you feel the thermostat temperature is too high or too low, use this option to change the temperature (calibrate).

Clean the Touch Screen
This option disables the touch screen for 10 seconds to enable the user to clean the touch screen by wiping down with a soft, damp cloth.

The Home Number is used by the ER1 receiving module when communicating with wireless devices. The Home Number only needs to be changed if two installations are within 300 feet of one another.

INSTALLER SECTION
This manual is separated into two different sections: one for the Homeowner and one for the System Installer.
The Installer section contains setup and installation information of the remote control with optional user settings available for the homeowner.

Homes with plaster walls with steel lathe may experience wireless communication interference when using wireless remote controls.

CAUTIONS
Read and follow all instructions carefully.
Read entire manual before installing EvenAir products.
Use cautions when mounting components to surfaces that may have concealed wiring beneath the surface.

ATTENTION INSTALLER
Install and wire components to the wiring hub. (See
1) H32 Wiring Hub manual for wiring detail)
2)
Install the ER1 electronic receiver module in the wiring hub. The remote control is factory set to sensor #2. Set the home number as necessary. (see H32 Wiring Hub manual).
3)
After testing wiring hub and components installation, place the remote control on the subbase or attach table top adapter.
4)
Install batteries in remote control and set time (see Installing Batteries and Set Time section).
INSTALL TSRC REMOTE CONTROL
The TSRC can be installed on an interior wall using the subbase provided or can be set on a table top using the table top adapter provided.
WALL MOUNTING
Attach the subbase to a wall using the screws and anchors provided. The TSRC snaps onto the subbase. No wiring is required.

Linked should be displayed. Verify the wireless communication by observing that the outdoor temperature is displayed correctly.
INSTALL BATTERIES
Install 2 AA batteries.
TABLE TOP USE
Snap the tabletop adapter onto the TSRC and place on table top.

MAINTENANCE AND TROUBLESHOOTING
REMOTE CONTROL OPERATION
Problem - Snr 02 is displayed on thermostat.
Replace the batteries. Be sure the TSRC is set to the same Home number as the
T32 thermostat.
WARNING! When using a whole house fan or economizer requiring windows be opened, be sure the windows are open before selecting ECool mode.
COMFORT CONCERNS
Problem - The room temperature on the remote control seems too high or too low.
The remote control is factory calibrated within 1 degree. However, if a homeowner finds the temperature “feels” too high or too low, the remote control can be calibrated to what the homeowner feels is the correct temperature using the Menu key to select the Calibration Option.
