MANUAL DE INSTRUÇÕES

INTRODUÇÃO

Serve o presente manual para fornecer todas as informações necessárias ao uso correcto da
máquina e à sua manutenção, bem como para acautelar a segurança dos seus utilizadores.

Este manual deve ser preservado e as suas instruções seguidas, pois o fabricante não responde
por danos ocasionados a pessoas ou coisas, devido a má instalação ou utilização.

As indicações do presente manual não substituem os dados técnicos gravados directamente
na máquina.

O fabricante reserva-se o direito de modificar o manual sem obrigação de actualizar edições
anteriores.

Este aparelho não está previsto para ser utilizado por pessoas (incluindo crianças) cujas
capacidades físicas, sensoriais ou mentais sejam reduzidas, ou pessoas com falta de experiência
ou conhecimento, excepto se puderem beneficiar, através de uma pessoa responsável pela sua
segurança, de uma vigilância ou instruções previas relativas à utilização do aparelho.
Convém supervisionar as crianças para assegurar de que não brincam com o aparelho.

O utilizador deve respeitar as normas de segurança em vigor no país de instalação e assegurar as
operações periódicas de manutenção.

Aconselha-se a utilização de um estrado de madeira para o operador da máquina. Este deve
evitar operar a máquina, descalço ou com os pés molhados.

O operador deve evitar tocar com as mãos ou outras partes do corpo nos grupos de saída de
água quente e vapor, pois encontram-se a temperaturas elevadas.

AVISO

Antes de utilizar a máquina pela primeira vez, retirar os plásticos de protecção do aço inox e
limpar as superfícies, evitando usar produtos abrasivos.

INSTALAÇÃO

Antes de efectuar a instalação deve verificar se estão reunidas todas as condições
necessárias para o bom funcionamento da máquina, assim:

1 - Verificar se a instalação eléctrica cumpre as condições para um bom funcionamento:

1.1 - Verificar se a tensão de alimentação corresponde ao exigido para a máquina
(ver chapa de características).

1.2 - Verificar se existe um circuito com ligação terra.

1.3 - Verificar se a potência disponível é adequada à potência da máquina.

1.4 - O quadro eléctrico de alimentação deve ter uma protecção de 30 mA e um disjuntor

com 3 mm de separação dos contactos.

2 - Verificar se o circuito hídrico tem as condições necessárias para a instalação:

2.1 - Torneira para a alimentação e junção de G3/8 para ligação do tubo de
alimentação.

3 - Existência de tubo de esgoto acessível que possa comportar um tubo com ø16/17mm.

4 - Colocar a máquina numa posição estável e nivelada sobre o balcão.

COLOCAÇÃO EM FUNCIONAMENTO

A 1ª operação a efectuar é verificar se a ligação da água está efectuada de forma correcta, se sim,
ligar o interruptor geral (0/I), o piloto verde acende para indicar que a caldeira enche

automaticamente. Quando a água atinge o nível predefinido, o piloto apaga-se. Seguidamente,
ligar o interruptor da resistência e a máquina inicia o aquecimento, quando atingir a temperatura
de trabalho, o piloto laranja apaga-se.

NOTA: a precaução de só ligar o interruptor da resistência após desligar o piloto verde de nível

de água, só se coloca aquando da instalação ou qualquer intervenção que implique
esvaziar completamente a caldeira. No uso diário pode-se ligar os dois interruptores em
simultâneo visto a caldeira já conter água.

PARA ASSEGURAR UM BOM FUNCIONAMENTO DA MÁQ. DE CAFÉ, É
IMPORTANTE QUE SE INSTALE UM DEPURADOR NA ENTRADA DE ÁGUA,
GARANTINDO, ASSIM, UMA MAIOR QUALIDADE DO CAFÉ E UMA MAIOR
LONGEVIDADE DA MÁQUINA, COM MENORES CUSTOS DE MANUTENÇÃO.

Verifique no manómetro da máquina se a pressão da caldeira se encontra em +/- 1 bar. A pressão
da caldeira pode ser ajustada actuando sobre o pressostato da máquina.

A máquina tem disponível filtros para um ou dois cafés, pelo que basta seleccionar o filtro
pretendido, colocá-lo no grupo com a dose de café correcta (5,5 e 6,5 gr. por café) e ligar o
interruptor do grupo, desligando-o quando tiver obtido a quantidade de café desejada.

Para um bom funcionamento deve verificar a moagem do café.

Se o tempo de saída for superior a 20/25 segundos, deve ajustar o moinho para uma moagem
mais grossa ou vice-versa se o tempo for inferior.

NOTA: é aconselhável que se mantenha o porta filtro limpo e no grupo, mesmo que não se vá

tirar café, isto para o manter quente e assim obter um melhor café.

Quando colocar o café no filtro, tenha o cuidado de o premir uniformemente.
A máquina está pronta, pode começar a tirar café.

FUNCIONAMENTO PARA MODELOS DE CONTROLO

VOLUMÉTRICO (C.V.)

Os modelos CV distinguem-se dos outros pela possibilidade de se pré-programar a dose de café
pretendida, pois a máquina desliga automaticamente quando atinge a dose programada.

Modo de programação: ver anexo

FUNCIONAMENTO PARA OS MODELOS COM DEPÓSITO INTERIOR

“MARINA CV DI”

Nos modelos com Depósito Interior (DI) a primeira operação a realizar é encher o depósito com
água. Para tal, basta retirar a tampa cromada que se encontra no tabuleiro superior da máquina.

Depois do depósito estar cheio, pode-se ligar o interruptor geral (0/I). O piloto verde acende
para indicar que a caldeira está a encher e quando a água atinge o nível predefinido, a bomba
pára e o piloto apaga-se.
Quando a caldeira estiver cheia, liga-se o interruptor da resistência e o piloto laranja acende. A
máquina inicia o aquecimento e quando atinge a temperatura de trabalho, o piloto apaga-se.
O nível da água do depósito é controlado por uma sonda situada no exterior deste. Quando a água
atinge o nível mínimo, a sonda bloqueia o teclado (os leds começam a piscar). O teclado só voltará
a funcinar quando se encher o depósito.
Na parte inferior da máquina encontra-se um depósito de esgoto para aparar águas residuais, que
deverá ser utilizado só quando não for possível fazer uma ligação ao esgoto.

NOTA: No final de cada dia de trabalho, deve-se proceder à limpeza do depósito de

esgoto.

ÁGUA QUENTE E VAPOR

A máquina tem disponíveis, 1 torneira de vapor e 1 de água que permitem fazer chá, aquecer
leite ou ponche e fazer cappucino.

É importante abrir a torneira de vapor 1 ou 2 segundos antes de a utilizar para limpeza de
eventuais resíduos de uma utilização anterior. É também importante a limpeza da respectiva
vareta com um pano húmido após a sua utilização.

LIMPEZA

1 - LIMPEZA DIÁRIA

Ao fim do dia, antes de desligar a máquina deve efectuar a limpeza do grupo, utilizando o filtro
cego que acompanha a máquina fazendo várias distribuições em cada grupo.

Limpar os guias do porta-filtro com um pano/esponja e lavar os filtros e porta-filtros utilizando
um pouco de detergente para retirar a gordura de café acumulada.

Limpar o tabuleiro e grelha onde cai o café.

2 - LIMPEZA SEMANAL

Semanalmente deve colocar uma colher de detergente específico para máquina de café no filtro
cego e colocá-lo no grupo ligando-o cerca de 30 segundos. Deve repetir a operação até que a
água do grupo saia completamente limpa. Deve repetir a operação em todos os grupos.

Deve retirar as grelhas porta-chávenas, lavá-las e limpa-las convenientemente e o tabuleiro onde
estas se encontram. Deve também proceder à limpeza do depósito plástico de descarga da
máquina. A carroçaria deve ser limpa com um pano húmido, evitando o uso de detergentes
abrasivos ou solventes.

MANUTENÇÃO E REPARAÇÃO

Todas as operações de manutenção e reparação devem ser efectuadas por pessoal
especializado e devidamente autorizado pelo fabricante.

Utilize unicamente peças de assistência da origem.

INSTRUCTIONS MANUAL

INTRODUCTION

This manual is intended to give all the necessary information for the correct use and
maintenance of the machine, looking after the user’s safety.

This manual must be kept in a safe place and its instructions followed, since the manufacturer is

not to be held responsible for damages caused to people or property due to mis-installation/use.

The instructions in this manual do not replace the technical data stamped directly on the
machine’s I.D plate.

The manufacturer has the right to alter this manual without having to up-to-date previous
editions.

This machine should not be used by people whose physical, sensory or mental capacities are
diminished (including children), or by people with little experience or know-how, except if they
can be assisted by another person responsible for their safety and vigilance and are able to give
them instructions pertaining to the use of the machine.
It is also convenient to supervise children so as to assure they maintain a safe distance from the
machine.

The user should comply with the safety regulations in force in the country where the machine is
installed and the periodical servicing operations should be assured.

The user should stand on a wooden platform and should avoid using the machine barefoot or
with wet feet.

The user should avoid touching the outlet groups of hot water and steam because they are very
hot.

THE MACHINE HAS TELESCOPIC FEET WHICH ARE INSIDE THE SPARE PARTS

ATTENTION

Before using the machine for the first time, remove the stainless steel plastic protections and
clean it using a mild detergent.

INSTALLATION

Before installing the machine, make sure that the machine has all the required conditions to
work correctly.

Therefore:

1 - Check that the electrical installation has all the conditions in order to work correctly.

1.1. - Check if the power supply corresponds to the one required for the machine (see the
ID plate);

1.2. - Check if there is a suitable earth circuit;

1.3. - Check if the available power is suitable for the machine power;

1.4. - The electrical board should have a protection of 30 mA and a circuit breaker with a
3mm separation from the contacts.

2 - Check that the water circuit has the required conditions for installation:

2.1. - A supply tap and a G3/8 pipe connection to connect to the supply pipe.

3 - Check that there is an accessible discharge pipe that can hold a pipe with ø16/17 mm.

4 - Place the machine correctly on the counter.

WORKING INSTRUCTIONS

In the water softener installation, the first procedure is to check if the water connection is done
in a proper way. If everything is alright with the water connection, turn on the main switch (0/I)
and the green light will turn on, indicating that the water boiler is being automatically filled.
When the water boiler reaches the standard level, the orange light will turn off.

NOTE: The preventive procedure of turning on the heating element switch only after turning off

the green pilot (water level) is only necessary when you’re doing an installation or a
repair service, in which it is necessary emptying completely the water boiler. In the
daily usage, you can turn on both switches at the same time, because the water boiler is
already filled.

“ALWAYS CONNECT THE GRILL DIRECTLY TO AN EARTHED MAINS SOCKET
AND NEVER USE ANY KIND OF TYPE T ADAPTERS.”

TO ASSURE A GOOD FUNCTIONING OF THE COFFEE MACHINE, IT IS
STRICTLY NECESSARY TO INSTALL A WATER SOFTENER, OBVIOUSLY
CONNECTED TO THE COFFEE MACHINE. IN THIS WAY, A BIGGER LIFE
EXPECTANCY AND A BETTER COFFEE QUALITY WILL BE GUARANTEED,
WITH LOWER MAINTENANCE COSTS.

Check the machine manometer to see if the boiler pressure is at +/- 1 bar.
The pressure in the boiler can be adjusted by regulating the machine pressure gauge.
Now you can begin to make coffee.

The machine has filters for one or two coffees and all you need to do is select the required filter,
put it in the group with the correct dose of coffee (5,5 to 6,5gr. per coffee) switch the group on
and then switch it off when you have the required amount of coffee.

In order for it to work properly, you should check the coffee grind.
If the outlet time is longer then 20/25 seconds, you should adjust the grinder for a thicker grind
and vice-versa if the length of time is shorter.

NOTE: It is better to maintain the filter holder clean and placed in the group (even when you’re

not going to make coffee) in order to maintain the filter holder warm and have a good
quality coffee.

When placing the ground coffee in the filter, press it in a uniform way.

The machine is ready, you can start making coffee.

VOLUMETRIC CONTROL MODELS (C.V.)

The C.V. models are different from the other ones because it is possible to pre-program coffee
doses, seeing as the machine switches off automatically when it reaches the programmed dose.

HOW TO OPERATE THE MODELS WITH INTERIOR TANK

“MARINA CV DI”

In case of models with an interior tank (versions “DI”), first fill the tank with water before
operating the machine. To fill the tank, take off the chromed cover plate at the top of the

machine and fill the tank with water. When the tank is full, switch on the main switch (0/I). A
green signal lamp will turn on to indicate that the boiler is being filled. Once the water reaches
the predefined level, the pump stops and the green signal lamp switches itself automatically off.
Once the boiler is filled, turn on the heating switch. An orange signal lamp will turn on. The
machine starts to heat up and when the working temperature is reached, the orange signal lamp
switches itself automatically off.
A level sensor (situated on the outside of the tank) controls the water level in the tank. Once the
water reaches the minimum level, the sensor automatically blocks the control display and the LED
signal lamps will start to flash. The control display will only start to function again when the tank
has been refilled with water.
A drain tank for residual water is situated on the lower part of the machine. This drain tank should
only be used in case it is not possible to establish a connection to the sewage.

NOTE: The drain tank has to be completely cleaned after each work day.
