The Compact Vision System type SBO..−M−... has been designed for fitting into a machine or into an automated
system. It serves for visualizing and diagnosing fast movement sequences.

Safety instructions

The Compact Vision System type SBO..−M−R1B possesses a monochrome CMOS sensor. The camera images are pro cessed in 256 grey tones. The available processing functions ar

and the number of lines must be divisble by 8. The resolution is adapted here automatically. High frame rates reduce the expo sure time of the sensor and therefore require more light.

The Festo Configuration Tool (or briefly FCT) serves for commissioning and operation. FCT is the software interface
for configuring and commissioning var devices from Festo. It can run under the operating systems Windows® 2000 and XP and offers a comfortable user interface. The
