Instructions for Assembling ISM Antennas
List of Parts:
1) Receiver, with plastic case and cable
2) Metal tube
3) Metal tube holder
4) Antenna grid
5) Elevation holder
6) Shark (2 pieces)
7) Screw: self-cutting for fastening to plastic
receiver
8) Bolt, M8x45 (2 pieces)
9) Bolt, M8x100 (4 pieces)
10) Bolt, M6x10 (3 pieces)
11) Nut, M8 (6 pieces)
12) Nut, M6 (2 pieces)
13) Split Washer, M8 big (6 pieces)
14) Washer, M8 big (6 pieces)
15) Split Washer, M6 small (2 pieces)
16) Washer, M6 small (2 pieces)
Fasten the metal tube holder (3) to the
antenna grid (4) in the following manner:
Insert the two bolts (10) through the holes
in the front of the antenna grid so that they
pass through the holes in the metal tube
holder. Onto the bolts sticking out the back
of the metal tube holder, put a washer (16),
split washer (15), and fasten with the nut
(12).
Put the cable of the receiver (1) through the
end of the metal tube (2) which has
a small hole, and make the cable go out the
other end of the metal tube. Orient the
plastic receiver so that you can see the small
hole in the plastic receiver through the
small hole in the metal tube. Fasten through
the hole with the self-cutting screw (7).

Put the cable (1) through the front of the
antenna grid and out the back of the metal
tube holder (3), but do not put the metal
tube (2) into the metal tube holder yet.
Fasten the elevation holder (5) to the metal
tube holder (3) using two bolts (8), adding
the washer (14), split washer (13), and the
nut (11). Then insert the metal tube into the
metal tube holder (3) all the way until it hits
the bolt (8). The focal length will then be
correct.
IMPORTANT:
The flat side of the plastic receiver must be
oriented parallel to the ribs of the antenna
grid. The antenna will NOT function if the
receiver is oriented 90 degrees from the
metal ribs!
In the hole in the metal tube holder (3) put
a bolt (10) and tighten, so that the metal
tube/receiver combination is fixed and
cannot move.
Put the four bolts (9) through the holes in
the elevation holder (5), and then add
onto the bolts the two sharks (6), the four
washers (14), four split washers (13),
and the four nuts (11). This assembly is for
mounting onto poles or consoles.
