1- INFLATION
The empty and quick-fill cap is equipped with either a 1/4-turn air outlet blocking push-button valve (push-turn) or a single-acting air outlet blocking push-button pressure (push-push, for references C52 – C73 – T52 – T73). Make sure before inflation that the valve is in the elevated position. Once the fender is inflated, be sure to replace the closing cap. Inflation can be performed using a manual or volumetric pump or turbine for faster inflation, the choice is available on our website.

3- BALLASTING
A
In case of prolonged berthing (several months) and/or in the prevention of a strong wind, you can pour 1 to 3 litters of water in the fender, according to the size of the fender, in order to weight it: from C52 to C73 = 1/2 L, from C84 to C124 = 1 à 2 L, from C145 to C248 = 3L
Put a rope in the lower rings of the fender and
B
connect it to the ship's rail (see diagram below).

4- DEFLATION
To deflate, open the closing cap, and position the valve in the down position by performing the appropriate movement (push-push or push-turn) to maintain a permanent deflation. Roll the fender on itself from the bottom to extract the air completely. Reposition the valve in the up position and replace the closing cap.
Page 8
5- STORAGE
The fender should be stored preferably rolled. This optimizes a maximum of space on board.

6- ADEQUACY
The size of your FENDERTEX® fender must be in adequacy with the size of your boat to match safe cushioning. A recommendation table on our website www.fendertex.eu advises you on the choice of sizes and number of fenders needed for your boat.

7- WASHING
Close the inflation valve and the closure cap, making sure that no deposit reduces its waterproofness. Surround the stainless steel rings with a textile to prevent them from damaging the washing machine. The fender is ready to be put in the washing machine at 40°C with clothing detergents and detachers.
For other non-clothing cleaning products, remove the inner tube to wash only the textile envelope

8- REASSEMBLING
1
Roll both sides of the inner tube from the welds.
2
Insert the inner tube into the textile envelope, taking care not to twist the inner tube. The hook and loop strips of both parts must follow the same line.
3
Position the collar to grip the two parts of the fender. The top of the valve should be at the same level as the seam of the hem. Inflate the fender to fully position the inner tube in the textile envelope (then it can then be deflated).
