Your new 11227700PP Powered Monitor delivers the professional quality and performance that has established
Fender as a respected leader in the music industry for over 50 years. The self-powered version of the 1270
stage monitor, your 11227700PP is equipped with its own 100-watt bi-amplifier which feeds the 10-inch woofer and
piezoelectric compression driver independently for clean, full-spectrum response. The control panel
(FIGURE A) accepts a variety of input sources with 3 different jacks; 1) LINE: 1/4—inch phone jack for
balanced or unbalanced line-level input, 2) AMP IN: 1/4—inch phone jack for unbalanced line-level input
and 3) MIC: XLR jack for balanced mic-level input (full-time 15—volt phantom power supplied). The LINE
OUT jack serves as an unbalanced line-level signal feed-through which can be used to connect multiple
11227700PP monitors in a daisy chain configuration. The LINE and MIC inputs are affected by LEVEL and TONE
controls while the AMP IN input is unaffected. The durable one-piece cabinet is made of ABS plastic and has
rubber feet on three sides to provide cabinet
placement at three different listening angles.
A. IEC LINE CORD CONNECTOR - The power
line cord must be connected to a grounded AC
receptacle in accordance with the voltage and
frequency ratings as listed on the 11227700PP
control panel under INPUT POWER.
B. POWER - Turn ON/OFF the 11227700PP with this
rocker switch.
C. POWER INDICATOR - Illuminates when the
11227700PP is receiving power.
D. LINE - Input jack for a balanced or unbalanced
line-level signal. Use a standard 1/4 TRS (Tip,
Ring, Sleeve) plug.
E. MIC - Input jack for a balanced, mic-level
signal. Use a standard XLR mic plug. Full-time
15-volts phantom power is supplied.
F. AMP IN - Input jack for an unbalanced, line-
level signal. Use a standard 1/4 TS (Tip,
Sleeve) plug. The LEVEL {H} and TONE {I}
controls do not affect this input. Adjustments
must be made at the signal source.
G. LINE OUT - Output jack which supplies an
unbalanced line-level signal from any of the
three inputs. LEVEL {H} and TONE {I} affect the signal from the LINE jack {D} and MIC jack {E} inputs.
Connect multiple 11227700PP monitors together by connecting this buffered LINE OUT jack to the AMP IN {F}
jack on another 11227700PP using a standard 1/4 TS patch cord.
H. LEVEL - Adjusts the signal level of the LINE jack {D} and MIC jack {E} inputs.
I. TONE - Adjusts the high-frequency range of the LINE jack {D} and MIC jack {E} inputs.

CABINET PLACEMENT
The cabinet can be positioned at three different angles to accommodate various stage sizes and performer movements (Figure B).
25-degrees for small-size stages and for performers that stay close to the 11227700PP Monitor.
45-degrees for medium-size stages and for performers that move farther from their
11227700PP Monitor.
80-degrees for near-field use when the 11227700PP Monitor is placed on a pedestal raising it to ear level.
Reduce feedback potential by using cardioid pattern microphones and keeping them pointed away from speakers.
