TURN OFF THE POWER AT THE MAIN FUSE OR

CIRCUIT BREAKER BOX BEFORE STARTING

Carefully unpack and identify all parts before assembly.

Bulb not included.

1. Mounting Plate installation:
A. Install long screws onto mounting plate by screwing from

opposite side of green grounding screw head. Make certain
the two screws are installed at same distance as holes in
crown.

B. Leave about 3/4" (19 mm) of thread exposed then lock in

place by fastening with hex nuts from opposite side.

C. Pass electrical wires from outlet box through center hole

in mounting plate.

D. Fasten the mounting plate onto outlet box using two

screws supplied with the outlet box.

E. At this point, test install crown onto ceiling and make

certain about 3/16" (5 mm) of screw threads are protruding
below crown surface. If not, then adjust screw location by
loosening hex nuts and screwing up or down accordingly.

F. Once correct screw location has been adjusted, remove

crown and tighten hex nuts. Make certain not to spin screws
during tightening.

G. Spread the electrical wires so that the black wires are on

one side of the outlet box and the white wires are on the
other side.

2. Grounding Connection:
This fixture is provided with a ground wire. Connect fixture

ground wire to ground wire from outlet box with wire
connector (not provided).

Never connect ground wire to black or white power

supply wires.

3. Electrical connections:
Connect the white wire(s) from the fixture to the white wire

of the outlet box. Connect the black wire(s) from the fixture
to the black wire of the outlet box. NOTE: Black outlet box
wire may be red, round & smooth and/or have copper
conductor. White outlet box wire may be square & ridged
and/ or have a silver conductor.

4. While gently tucking all wires inside, install crown onto the
outlet box by fastening with cap nuts onto protruding screws.

5. Install bulb (not included). See relamping label located at
socket area for type and maximum allowed wattage.

6. Install shade onto crown by turning in clockwise direction.
IMPORTANT: MAKE CERTAIN SHADE IS FIRMLY LOCKED
INTO CROWN.
