30 years of innovation and quality manufacturing behind it. The MT-300 Mixer Timer is
designed to simplify your timing process and allow your foodservice operators to
spend more time with the customers and other important responsibilities. Quality
control of your food product is assured through the various features, notification
displays and alarms designed into the MT-300 Mixer Timer.
There are three modes of operation on the mixer timer:
•Operating Mode: used to time various menu items
•Product Programming Mode: used to add or modify menu items or change
settings
•Diagnostic Mode: used to test LEDs, display and beep volume.
FAST is not liable for any use of product not in accordance with FAST’s
installation and operating instructions.

(1)ACROSS-THE-KITCHEN MONITORING: 7-Segment LED Display. Easy-to-read displays allow crew members to
quickly check the status of the mixer from across the kitchen. The display will show the countdown time.
(2)ONE (1) LED PER PRODUCT KEY
(3)PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS: Printed directly on front panel to make it easy for any operator to use the
mixer timer.
(4)UP and DOWN ARROW KEYS: In “Programming” mode increments the time or feature up or down (keys 1 and
4).
(5)PRODUCT KEY: In “Programming” mode used to program mixing times. In “Operating” mode, used to start
timing cycles.

(6)CHANGEABLE MENU STRIP: Slides in and out easily allowing quick updates when your menu items change.

INSTALLATION

1.Using the drawing on page 7 as a guide, mount the MT-300 to an appropriate
vertical surface using screws and mounting holes on unit.

2. Make sure the mixer and MT-300 power switches are in the OFF position.
3. Plug the MT-300 into a standard three-prong 120VAC (center ground) outlet having
a minimum 15A service.
4. Plug mixer into power receptacle on side of MT-300.
5. To ensure safe operation, arrange power cables so they are away from mixer and
other equipment.
6. Turn mixer power ON.
This timer is intended to
1.Load ingredients into mixer bowl. Use the correct ingredient quantities for your
product.
DO NOT OVERLOAD MIXER BOWL WITH PRODUCT!
2. Turn the MT-300 power switch to ON.
3. Immediately press the appropriate timing button on MT-300. That button’s LED will
be lit.
NOTE: This must be done within 5 seconds to avoid a time-out alarm. If the timeout alarm sounds, turn the MT-300 power switch OFF and repeat Steps 2 and 3.
4. When mixing is done the display will flash 00:00 and beep every half second. Turn
the MT-300 power switch OFF.
5. Empty ingredients form the mixing bowl.
WARNING: TURN MT-300 OFF BEFORE TOUCHING
OPERATING NOTES:
a.A mixing cycle can be programmed up to 99 minutes and 59 seconds.
