Revolutionary Types of Presses Embodying Many Features that Contribute to Production
The same personnel who are responsible for the Reliance Hydraulic presses are now manufacturing the
FAST FEED line of presses.
These Presses have ample speed, less deflection, less crankshaft distortion, featuring a bronze brake which
has an exceptional value in Punch Press construction.
The Clutch mechanism can be set for positive single stroke or continuous.
The Crankshaft bearings and Pitman Rod Bearings have alemite fittings and alemite fittings on the end of
the Crankshaft for pressure lubrication to the Flywheel.
MAIN FRAME:
front to rear have ample oil grooves for perfect lubrication.
FLYWHEEL:
stroke. The Flywheels are fitted to the Crankshaft carefully to provide for a good bearing, and are held
in position by a split collar with clamps on the outer end of the Crankshaft at the rear, thereby making
it possible to take-up any end-play in the Flywheels. Power is transmitted to the Flywheels by a V Belt
from Motor. Crankshaft is operated by a simple mechanical clutch. The dog section of the clutch is
mounted on the Flywheel.
