1. Warnings
2. This product contains electronic parts, a battery, and a detachable strap; please keep it out of
reach from young children for their own safety.
3. To use the Care.UP©, you need to possess a smartphone with iOS (at least version 9) or Android (at least version 4.3) and Bluetooth 4.0, BLE or Bluetooth Smart.
4. Do only use Care.UP© and Upp accessories. Third party equipment can damage your device!
5. Before turning on your Care.UP© for the first time, please follow the 2. Installation procedure below.
2. Installation
1. Sign up via the website (www.farasha-care.com) or the app (Farasha™, available in the Apple Store and Google Play). Please use a different email address than the one you provided to buy your Care.UP© to protect the anonymity of your data.
2. Make sure your phone is connected to Internet. Sign in on your phone via the Farashaapp.
3. Plug the watch to a plug socket and keep it plugged during the entire installation process (see 3.1. Charger). Please wait until your battery reaches 50% before launching the installation process.
4. You need to keep your phone and your watch close to each other (less than 15 feet/5 meters). If you want to avoid issues to happen, keep your phone and your watch next to each other.
5. Open the app, and accept to connect your account with the watch. Follow the instructions on the watch.
6. Enter the DID (see a. Installation). During the installation update, do not unplug or move away your phone and your watch by more than 15 feet/5 meters. Wait for the watch and the phone to be suc­cessfully intertwined.
You are now ready to use all the functionalities of your Care.UP©!
3. Components Description
3.1. Charger
To charge your watch, you can use:
Any USB port ;
Any USB adapter.
Connect the charger to the back of the watchs module. It will be automatically plugged thanks to the chargers oriented slot; if the charger do not magnetize with the watch, you are probably doing it the wrong direction. If you encounter any issue, see 8. Common Troubleshooting.
Do not forget to plug the USB stick to a USB port or adapter.
The power level of the battery is displayed on the watchs screen while it is charging.

3.2. Straps
The Care.UP© device proposes to its users to employ different straps (in a variety of colors). You can buy different types of straps by following this link: www.care-up.com
To remove a strap, push the back of your watch module upward while pulling the strap downward. Do not
pressurize the screen of your watch module.
To put your watch module in a strap, push the back of your watch module upward while holding the strap. Do not pressurize the screen of your watch module. Make sure your watch module is well clamped before using it.

4.1. Product Quick Info
The Care.UP© uses a touch-screen: you need to touch the screen with your bare fingers to use the me­nus and the different functionalities the watch proposes.
Several icons appears recurrently:
Touch this icon if you want to go back to the Dashboard.
Touch this icon if you want to slide to the next menu or submenu.
Touch this icon if you want to slide to the previous menu or submenu.
Touch this icon if you want to delete/cancel any element/capture.

B. Alarms
You can plan an alarm by setting the hour (HH), the minutes (mm) and the seconds (SS). This alarm will trigger on a daily basis.

C. Alerts
These screens allow you to adjust your alerts. Alerts are divided in three different spectrums: red, orange and green. The red color means that your physiological measures are dangerously outside the norms. The orange one means that your measures are irregular whereas green simply stands for standard and regular measures.

This screen permits you to switch from the U.S. measurement systems to the metric system by touching the kind of unit you want to change.

You can switch between languages by touching DE (Deutsche), EN (English), ES (Español) or FR (Français).
3.7. Reset
If you reset your Care.UP©, all your data will be lost. If you do not want to lose your data while resetting, synchronize your watch with the FarashaApp for smartphone before.
4.4. List
This screen displays your last five automatic captures, listed by dates. If you want the details of one specific automatic capture, touch this capture; you will be directed to a screen where all details will be displayed (heart rate, SpO2, temperature and blood pressure).
If you want to display one specific capture, see 5. Dashboard.
4.5. Start/Stop — Checklist
A. Start/Stop
If you are in the Sport menu (see 5.3. Sport), pressing this button will trigger the sport capture.
B. Checkup
Except in the Sport menu (see 5.3. Sport), pressing this button will launch several captures (recorded and
available in the List menu; see 5.3. List): heart rate, SpO2, temperature and blood pressure.

A. Personal Data
This screen allows you to enter you personal data, such as your blood group, your age, your sex and your height and weight. It displays your body mass index.

This screen displays an overview of your personal data. Touch one of the data to modify its content.
B. Allergies

This screen allows you to add your allergies (up to five). To sup­press one allergy, touch the red cross (see b.2. Allergies). To add an allergy, touch the plus icon. To modify one allergy in particular,
touch its name in the list.

This screen allows you to add your recent hospitalizations (up to
five). To add an hospitalization, touch the plus icon. To suppress or modify an hospitalization, touch its name (see c.2. Hospitalizations).

D. Chronic Diseases

This screen allows you to add your chronic diseases (up to five). To suppress one chronic disease, touch the red cross. To add a chro­nic disease, touch the plus icon. To modify one chronic disease in particular, touch its name.
E. Last consultations
This screen allows you to set your last consultations. Touch one medical specialty (dentist, ophthalmologist, analyst, gynecologist)
to modify or to disable it (see e.2. Last consultations). An alert will
warn you if you did not consult a doctor in one of the specialties available in Care.UP© for at least six months.

This screen displays your sleep last captures. The greatest number corresponds to the duration of your light sleep; the lowest number matches with the duration of your deep sleep. If you want to access your last five sleep captures (see d.2. Sleep), touch the list icon.

E. Blood Pressure
If you capture your blood pressure for the first time, you will need to calibrate your Care.UP© first (see
e.3. Blood Pressure).

Red numbers indicate that you are far below your daily objective, orange numbers that your are slightly below your daily objective, and green values that you are at or beyond your daily objective. The daily objective can be set in the Options menu (see 4.3. Options – C.
Alerts). If you want to access your last five pedometer captures (see f.2. Pedometer), touch the list icon. Touch the screen anywhere to see the details of your days results (see f.3. Pedometer).

G. Drugs

This screen displays your next drug intake. Three different hours are shown: one for the morning, one for midday, and one for the evening. If you want to suppress a drug, touch the red cross (see g.3. Drugs). If you want to modify it, touch the name of the treatment; you can change its name and the hours. If you want to
access all your treatments (up to five; see g.2. Drugs), touch the list
icon.

H. Consultations
This screen displays your next consultation. If you want to sup­press a consultation, touch the red cross (see h.3. Consultations). If you want to modify it, touch the name of the consultation; you can change its name and the hour. If you want to access all your con­sultations (up to five; see h.2. Consultations), touch the list icon.

I. Ovulation
If you use the ovulation menu for the first time, you will need to calibrate your Care.UP© first. Touch the i.1. Ovulation screen anywhere to access the i.3. Ovulation screen.
This screen displays your current ovulation probability (in %) and which day of your menstrual cycle you are at. If you want to access the last five days ovulation data (see i.2. Ovulation), touch the list
icon.

5.3. Sports
Touch this icon to access the Sports Menu.
This screen allows you to choose between three modes:
Directs you to the A. Competition menu.
Directs you to the B. Training Programs menu.
Directs you to the C. Training menu.

In each mode you can find the following sports:
Cycling.
Kayaking.
Moutain biking.
Walking.
Snowalking.
Running.
Skiing.
Swimming.
Other sports could be added depending on FarashaR&D team.
Make sure you have your smartphone with the FarashaApp with you so you can collect your results
and data.
A. Competition
This mode allows you to capture your performances during a competition.
First, enter the name of the competition. Choose the sport you are about to practice (see the sportslist
in 5.3. Sport). A countdown will start; you can pause/play it by touching /

Once you finished your competition, touch

Touch it to end your competition. You will be directed to a confirmation screen, you can confirm/cancel
your decision by touching /
If you confirm the end of the competition, a screen with a summary of your data will appear (Spd. = Speed; HR = Heart Rate; Alt. = Altitude; Tmp. = Temperature; Min = Minimum; Max = Maximum; Avg = Average). Continue to approve, and you will be directed to a small survey about your feelings for this sport session.
Finally, the watch will propose you to send and save your data in your mobile app. Touch the Save and Sendblue text to send and save your data. If you choose to do so, please make sure your phone is next to your Care.UP© (no more than 15 feet/5 meters). If you do not want to save and send your data, touch the red cross.

B. Training Programs
WARNING! You need the app AND your smartphone to use this feature.
A training program is either created by the users (you) or by sport coaches. Programs are divided in se­veral exercises of one or more sports. The programs indicate the activities you will have to practice as well as objectives which wil trigger under the form of alerts (heart rate, distance, time, etc.).
The main screen displays the list of the training programs designed and registered in your smartphone app.
To download training programs in the app, touch the Training Programs icon. Then, you can choose to design new training programs (‘DESIGNbutton) or search for training programs (‘TRAINING PROGRAMS button). You can search programs by coachespseudos or by sportscategories. See 4.3. Options – G. Synchronization to register the training programs in your smartphone in your Care.UP© device.
On your Care.UP©, touch one of the training programs of the list to launch it.

When a exercise is over, your Care.UP© vibrates. If you did not finish the exercise on time, feel free to
finish it before continuing on the next exercise of the training program.
The watch will propose you to send and save your data in your mobile app. Touch the Save and Send blue text to send and save your data. If you choose to do so, please make sure your phone is next to your Care.UP© (no more than 15 feet/5 meters). If you do not want to save and send your data, touch the red cross.

6. Updates
The team working on the Care.UP© device, app and web service tries to improve your user experience by proposing updates. There are two different types of updates:
Optional updates: these updates can be ignored. Nevertheless, we recommend you to update as of-
ten as possible your Care.UP© system.
Mandatory updates: these updates cannot be ignored because they impact the very mechanics of
your Care.UP© system. If you do not accept those updates, you will not be able to use your device
until the update is made.
Updates can be detected and implemented in the following ways:
Whenever you capture an activity using your Care.UP©, the device will search for your smartphone
and for your specific paired account (see 2. Installation). If your smartphone is detectable (by Blue-
tooth, it must be less than 15 feet/5 meters around your Care.UP©), you will be proposed to syn-
chronize your data. If there is any update available, your watch will propose you to update your de­vice.
Periodically, your smartphone will try to detect your Care.UP© device. If this operation is suc-
cessful, you will be proposed to update your watch if your system is out-of-date.

You will be proposed to update your Care.UP© device if you use the Synchronization option (see
4.3. Options – G. Synchronization) and if your device is out-of-date.
UPDATE PROCESS

Charger). Please wait until your battery reaches 50% before launching the installation process.
2. Make sure your phone is connected to Internet. Sign in on your phone via the Farasha™ app.
3. You need to keep your phone and your watch close to each other (less than 15 feet/5 meters). If you want to avoid issues to happen, keep your phone and your watch next to each other.
4. Follow the instructions on the watch.
5. During the update, do not unplug or move away your phone and your watch by more than 15 feet/5 meters. Wait for the watch to be successfully updated.
7. Features
7.1. Water Resistance
The Care.UP© device is designed to be waterproof up to 30 feet (ten meters) deep.
7.2. Battery
The Care.UP©s battery is designed to last without charging about approximatively ten days.
You need to plug the USB wire to a charging transformer (Input: 100-240V ~50-60Hz; Output: 5V DC 0,5A).
