The GreenDrive employs variable speed disk
mechanisms that increase their rotational velocity
in response to host demand, resulting in virtually
no performance degradation vs. a 7200RPM disk.
Additionally, no lead is used in any component of
the GreenDrive, making it Restriction of Hazardous
Substances Directive (ROHS) as well as California
Electronic Waste Recycling Act compliant. As a
matter of fact, even the soy-based inks used to
print the box are environmentally friendly.
