WFR8547 DC WIFI Receiver

SPECIFICATION and INSTRUCTION SHEET

ELECTRICAL SPECS: 120 Volts, 60 Hertz, Fan 0.6 amp
FAN MODEL USED: Used on Kute 44 FPD8547 DC motor fan only.

May be used in conjunction with TR205D Remote or TW206D Wall Remote.

NOTE: If fan or supply wires are different colors than indicated, have this unit installed by a qualified electrician.

1. To set the code on receiver unit, slide dip switches to
the same positions as set on the remote. (Figure 1)

NOTE: The remote unit has 32 different code

combinations. To prevent possible interference from or
to other remote units, simply change the combination
code in the remote and receiver.
NOTE: Factory setting is all up. Do not use this position.

• To set the code on receiver unit, slide dip switches to
the same positions as set on the remote, when using
with the TR205D remote or TW206D wall remote.

WARNING

To avoid possible electrical shock, be sure electricity is

turned off at the main fuse box before wiring. (Figure 2)

NOTE: If you are not sure if the outlet box is grounded,
contact a licensed electrician for advice, as it must be
grounded for safe operation.
CAUTION: INCORRECT WIRE CONNECTION COULD
DAMAGE THIS RECEIVER.

2. Slide the receiver into the hanger bracket before

wiring as shown in figure 3.

3. Connect wires using connectors as shown in Figure 4.

WARNING

Check to see that all connections are tight, including
ground, and that no bare wire is visible at the wire
connectors. Do not operate fan until the blades are in
place. Noise and motor damage could result.

4. After connections have been made, put the white and green leads to one side and the black/white leads towards

the other side, upward and carefully push leads into the outlet box. The wires should be spread apart with the
grounded conductor and the equipment-grounding conductor on one side of the outlet box and the ungrounded
conductor on the other side. (Figure 5)

5. The receiver has a wifi antenna that can be used if you

experience range issues. (Figure 6)

6. Restore electrical power at the breaker and wall switch.

WARNING: To avoid possible fire or shock, make sure that

the electrical wires are completely inside the outlet box and
not pinched between the wall plate and the wall.

7. If you have multiple fans and want to program all fans to

one handheld control. Slide the Dip Switch with the same
position in ALL receiver to ONE handheld to set up the code
for each fans and follow Step 1 of the remote control speed
set up process. Each fan needs to be no more than 30 feet
from the handheld control that you would like to program.
Please note the wall switch that controls the power to your

fan(s) should be in the off position until you are ready to

program your handheld remote(s).

8. If you have multiple fans and want to program each fan to
separate handheld controls. Slide the Dip Switch with the
same position in both receiver and handheld to set up the
code for each fans and follow Step 1 of the remote control
speed set up process below for each fans. Repeat these steps
for each fan that you would like to program to a separate
handheld remote. Please note that the wall switch that

controls the power to your fan(s) should be in the off position

until you are ready to program your handheld remote(s).

9. To set the remote code with a small screwdriver or ball

point pen (neither included), slide dip switches firmly up or

down to same as receiver unit. (Figure 7)

NOTE: The remote unit has 32 different code

combinations. To prevent possible interference from or
to other remote units, simply change the combination
code in the remote and receiver.

NOTE: Factory setting is all up. Do not use this position .

1. Visit the Apple APP Store or the Google Play Store to download the free fanSync WiFi APP.

2. Create your Fanimation fanSync account.

3. At this stage, your ceiling fan Wi‐Fi receiver should be installed and within range of your Wi‐Fi router.

NOTA: Si los cables de suministro o del ventilador son de

1. Para configurar el código de unidad del receptor.
Deslice los interruptores de código a las mismas
posiciones que en el transmisor. (Figura 1)

NOTA: El mando a distancia incluido en este ventilador

tiene 32 combinaciones diferentes de códigos. Para

evitar posibles interferencias desde o hacia otros

mandos a distancia, modifique el código de
combinación de su transmisor y receptor.

NOTA: Los ajustes de fábricas vienen con todos los

interruptores hacia arriba. No utilice esta posición.

• Para configurar el código en la unidad del receptor,

deslice los interruptores dip en las mismas posiciones
que en el mando a distancia, cuando lo use con el
mando a distancia TR205D o el mando a distancia en

ADVERTENCIA

Para evitar una posible descarga eléctrica, asegúrese de
cortar la alimentación eléctrica de la caja de fusibles
principal antes de alambrado el ventilador. (Figura 2)

NOTA: Si no está seguro de si la caja de salida tiene

conexión a tierra, pida consejo a un electricista
certificado, ya que debe tener conexión a tierra para
un funcionamiento seguro.

2. Deslice el receptor en el soporte de suspensión antes
de realizar el cableado como se muestra en la figura 3.

3. Realice las conexiones de cables al bloque del

terminal como se muestra en la Figura 4.

ADVERTENCIA

Verifique que todas las conexiones estén ajustadas, incluida
la conexión a tierra, y que no haya conductores desnudos
visibles en los conectores. No opere elventilador hasta que
las aspas estén instaladas. Podría ocasionar ruidos y daños

4. Una vez haya hecho las conexiones, coloque los cables hacia arriba y empújelos cuidadosamente hacia dentro

de la caja de la toma de corriente, poniendo los cables blancos y verdes a un lado de la caja y los negros/blancos
hacia el otro lado. Los cables deben ser colocados de forma extendida poniendo el conductor de la toma de tierra
y el conductor de toma de tierra del equipo a un lado de la caja, colocando el conductor sin toma de tierra en el
otro lado de la caja. (Figura 5)

5. El receptor tiene una antena Wifi que puede utilizarse

si sufre problemas de rango. (Figura 6)

6. Restaure la fuente de alimentación en el conmutador

y en el interruptor de pared.

ADVERTENCIA

Para evitar un posible incendio o descarga eléctrica,

asegúrese de que los cables eléctricos estén

completamente dentro de la caja de conexiones y no estén
