Installation
Connect your WIRELESS Controller’s receiver to your
PlayStation
2 console only when it is deactivated.
®
Pay attention to the correct placement of 2 AA batteries in the
controller, incorrect polarisation may render the WIRELESS
Controller defective. Turn on your PlayStation
2 console. To
®
ensure correct calibration of the analogue thumbsticks and the
action buttons, make sure that sticks and buttons remain in
their natural position when the controller is turned on using
the Vibration ON/OFF Button. Moving the sticks and/or pressing
the action buttons while the console starts up may result in
incorrect calibration and requires you to restart your
PlayStation
2 console and repeat the above steps.
®
Operating Instructions
Your WIRELESS Controller offers three operating modes, Digital,
Analogue and Turbo Mode. The LED entitled “ANALOG” indicates
the currently activated mode.
Use the ANALOG Button to switch between Analogue and
Digital Mode.
5

DIGITAL MODE: Thumbsticks are deactivated and buttons work
digitally only. There is no pressure sensitive functionality
whatsoever.
ANALOGUE MODE: Thumbsticks are operational and buttons
offer analogue, pressure sensitive functionality when used with
a PlayStation
2 console. Please refer to your game’s manual to
®
find out whether analogue functions are supported.
TURBO MODE: The WIRELESS Controller features a Turbo Mode
that comes in really handy in fast action games. It can be
assigned to any button of the WIRELESS Controller including
the D-Pad and L3/R3, making sure that the respective button’s
command is executed 16 times a second when the player
presses and holds this button. To program an action button
please press and hold the TURBO Button and then press the
button you would like to assign the turbo function to. You may
do this with as many buttons as you wish at once. To reset all
action buttons to normal operation, please hold Select and
Turbo simultaneously. The Analogue Mode LED also acts as an
indicator for TURBO Mode, flashing rapidly when TURBO Mode
is in use.
The °G WIRELESS Controller also features an advanced Turbo
Mode that goes even beyond regular Turbo operation: the
Turbo Hold function. This function allows you to not only
program action buttons to carry out their commands 16 times
6

a second when pressed, but also when the button is not pressed.
In order to achieve this, repeat the above programming steps
once. The WIRELESS Controller will then perform the buttons’
commands constantly until deactivated.
Please refer to the graphics below for a summary of the above.

2 console
®

while the green one flashes slowly, indicating that there currently
is no connection. Press the Vibration ON/OFF Button once for
less than one second to activate the controller. Within a few
seconds the green LED will stop flashing and light up constantly,
indicating a synchronised connection between console/receiver
and WIRELESS Controller. Your WIRELESS Controller is now ready
7

for use. To deactivate your WIRELESS Controller manually, please
press and hold the Vibration ON/OFF Button for two seconds.
Your WIRELESS Controller features a battery-saving sleep mode
which turns off the controller after 30 seconds in case a receiver
can’t be detected. Furthermore, the controller will also turn off

connection with the receiver is established or the controller is
in Turbo Hold Mode. To continue playing please reactivate the
controller by pressing the Vibration ON/OFF Button once.
In-game-vibration can be turned on and off at any time using
the Vibration ON/OFF Button. Vibration is activated by default.

the (de)activation of the Vibration Mode.
