Introduction

Thank you for purchasing Fakir Proline Hand
Blender which has been designed and
manufactured to give you many years of trouble­free service.
You may already be familiar with using a similar
product, but do please take time to read these
instructions - they have been written to ensure
you get the very best from your purchase.

Safety is important

For yours and others safety please read the
instructions before using the appliance. Please
keep this instruction in a safe place for the further
use. If you pass the appliance on, pass on the
instructions too. Remove all packaging, but keep
it until you are satisfied that the appliance is
working.

Important Safeguards

When use electrical appliances, basic safety precautions
should always be followed, including the following:

Before operating this appliance, please read the
instruction manual first.

•

Before operating your appliance, make sure the power
rating of your appliance does in fact match that of
your electrical system.

•

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord
or plug or after the appliance malfunctions, or has
been damaged in any manner. Return appliance to
an authorized Fakir Service facility for examination,
repair or adjustment.

•

Close supervision is necessary when the appliance is
in use or while the oil is hot. Keep it out of the reach
of children.

•

The use of accessory attachments not recommended
by Fakir may result in fire, electric shock or injury to
people.

•

Do not clean the appliance with cleaners, steel wool
pads, or other abrasive materials.

•

This appliance is not intended for use by people
(including children) with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a
person responsible for their safety. Prevent children
to reach the appliance.

•

Never pull the power supply cord to disconnect
the plug from the socket. Keep the power supply
cord away from heat, oil and sharp edges.

•

Do not use the appliance outdoors.

•

Always protect the motor unit, power cable and
plug from water or excessive humidity.

Operate the appliance only with dry hands.

•
Disconnect the appliance from the power supply

•
when not in use, before fitting or removing parts
and before cleaning.
All repairs of electrical appliances must only be

•
performed by an authorized Fakir technical service.
Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
Don’t plug the appliance into the power supply

•
until it is fully assembled and always unplug before
disassembling the appliance or handle the blade.
Don’t place the appliance in the hot ingredients.

•
Short-time operating. Use the appliance for no

•
longer than 1 minute, and don’t operate hard food
for no longer than 10 seconds.
If you press switch I, you can run the inching switch
to meet your request. But the switch II is immutable.
Always disconnect the blender from the supply if

•
it is left unattended and before assembling,
disassembling or cleaning.
They shall state that care shall be take when

•
handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the
bowl and during cleaning.
Switch off the appliance and disconnected from

•
supply before changing accessories or approaching
parts which move in use.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they

do not play with the appliance.
Do not use this appliance near water contained

in basins like bathtubs, washbasins, etc.
Do not use any abrasive substance for cleaning

the appliance. You could clean the surface with a
damp cloth.
Do not abuse the electrical cord. Never disconnect

from outlet by pulling the power cord. Always use
the body of the plug for disconnecting the
appliance.
Do not bend the power cord. Do not keep the

folded power cord.
Always unplug the appliance after use.

Usage:
Usage of the hand blender: The hand blender is

perfectly suited for preparing dips, sauces, soups,
mayonnaise and baby food as well as for mixing and
milkshakes.

Turn the stainless steel blender stick on the motor unit

•
until it locks.
Introduce the hand blender in the vessel. Then choose

•
speed “1”-“5” and press the switch I or only switch
II to operate it.
Turn the blender stick off the motor unit after use. You

•
can use the hand blender in the measuring beaker
and just as well in any other vessel.
Use the hand blender for no longer than 1 minute.

•

Usage of the whisk attachment:

Use the whisk only for whipping cream, beating egg
whites and mixing sponges and Ready-mix desserts.

Inset the whisk into the whisk holder, and then turn

•
the gear box on the motor unit until it locks.
Place the whisk in a vessel or measurement cup and

•
only then. Choose speed “1”-“5” and press the switch
I or only switch II to operate it.
Use the whisk for no longer than 2 minute.

•
Turn the gear box off the motor unit after use. Then

•
pull the whisk out of the gear box.

Cleaning of the appliance:
Clean the motor unit with

a damp cloth only. Do not
immerse the motor unit in
water!.

All other parts can be cleaned

•
in the dish washer. However,
after processing very salty
food, you should raise the
blades right away.
Also, be careful not to use an overdose of cleaner

•
or decalcified in your dishwasher.
When processing food with color, the plastic parts

•
of the appliance may
become discolored wipe these parts with vegetable
oil before placing them in the dishwasher.
The blades are very sharp, please attention.

Unplug the appliance before cleaning.
