1 Product Description

1.1 Product Overview

This device is a digital monitoring product designed for security. It has an embedded processor and operating system, combined with the latest technology in the IT field, such as video and audio compression / decompres sion, large cap acity hard di sk rec or ding, T CP / IP netw ork te chnol ogy, solidified code in flash to make the system more stable. This device has features of DVR and DVS. It can work independently or connected to other devices to make a strong security surveillance network for use in banking, telecommunications, electricity, justice, transportation, residential, factories, warehouses, water conservancy facilities, and other fields.

3 Installation and connection

3.1 Installation notes

3.1.1 Check goods

1) Check to see if the equipment packing is damaged. Product packaging is made of protective materials which can cope with most transportation accidents.
2) Remove the equipment and ha rd dis k pl ast ic protective film and chec k for obv i ous dam agi n g marks.
3) Open case and check for any loose parts on the front panel data lines, power lines, connection between fan power and the motherboard.
4) Note that the power supply cannot exceed the normal operating voltage range.

3.1.2 About panel and rear panel

1) There are detailed descriptions for all the functions of keys in the front panel and the various interfaces in the rear panel.
2) Carefully check the model number in front panel film to see whether it is consistent with the one you ordered. The label in rear panel is very important for our company's after-sales service. Please protect it well.

4.1 Boot / Login / Logout / Restart / Shutdown screen output /
Shutdown

4.1.1 Boot

Remark:
1) Mare sure the access voltage matches with that of DVR and ensure the DVR GND correctly .
2) If power supply is not normal, DVR won’t work properly, or even be damaged. R ecommend to use regulated power supply.
Specific Booting procedures:
1) Plug in the power, front-panel power indicator is red.
2) Open the boot panel power switch. The device starts, as shown below.

● For audio output, access an audio output device.
● If the host is powered, the device not equipped with a hard disk, or install the hard disk when the
boot is not detected, after starting the video preview screen will display “A hard disk is not hard to find” in a dialogue box.

4.1.2 Login

When the system is turned on and after system initialization, it will automatically display the login screen shown below.

Valid password characters are numbers, letters, decimal points, * and #. Maximum 10
characters.
Forgotten password?
If you forgot your password, continuously press upward key ▲ 10 times. You will see “restore default user”. Press “OK” to enter the system. Then enter new password to replace the old one.

4.1.3 Logout

To User log off process, right click to shortcut menu, select Exit System, click “Logout” to complete as shown below.

When the operation starts again, re- enter user name and password.

4.1.4 Reboot

If it is ne eded to restart the machine in process, click “Reboot” in the Figure4-5. The system will restar t .

4.1.5 Shutdown screen output

If user needs to close the output screen in process, Click “Close screen output” in the Figure4-5.

4.1.6 Shut down

If user needs to turn off the system, Click “Shutdown” in the Figure4-5.

4.2 Split screen

Right click the mouse to choose “split screen”, Select how many screens you want to show on the monitor screen at one time. See figure 4-6.

4.3 Boot Wizard

When you first use the DVR, the system will automatically open the "Setup Wizard " interface guides after login, to lead user to the basic setups so that the unit is working properly. You can also right-click the mouse to enter and select “Setup Wizard”" setting (Figure 4-4 )

4.3.1 Mobile phone APP download

“Android client link” an d “IO S client link” is for Mobile APP do wnload. See section “7.2 APP Installation” Cloud ID: It’s the DVR device network ID used for network surveillance. See section “4.14.4.1 Network
setup” Enable Boot Wizard: When you click the box, the system will automatically open the "Setup Wizard" on the next boot. Click "Next" after setup..

4.3.2 General setups (Time/Language)

General setups as shown below (See section “4.14.1.1 General setup”): Select PAL or NTSC standard according to your country TV signal standard. click "Next" button after setup completion.

4.3.3 Fast Network (one key to the Internet)

1) Click Auto.Config. The system is automatically configured to obtain an IP address automatic networking as shown below. (For more detail about the Network see section “4.14.4.1 Network setup”). If network connection is successful, Network Statusshows Healthy Network Cloud(P2P)” shows “ONLINE”.

3) After setup is complete, the system will re-test online status. If this does not normally networking, operate according to the network status prompts. If networking is not needed , click "Next".

4.3.4 Channel Mode

Channel Mode sets analog and digital channel number and sets the automatic and AHD mode. Click Add IP camera , you can add IPC cameras. For specific methods see section 4.4.

4.3.5 Encode setup

This operation like the Main stream Sub stream and Encode format can be set to achieve a key to copy all channels, which as shown below (See section 4.14.2.1 “Encode setup” for more details)

4.3.6 HDD setup
This displays all hard disk information for the DVR and does hard disk formatting shown below. click "Next" after setup completion. (See section “4.14.1.3 HDD Setup” for more details)

to cancel Boot Wizard checked check box.

4.4 Access analog cameras and IP Camera added

Operation Procedure:
A. To access analog camera if display images are not correct, perform the following:
1) Right Main Menu " Channel mode " enter the setup interface as shown below:

2) The system default is auto m ode. Aut om atic iden tificat ion of high-d efi nition an alog ca mera acc ess. If the camera does not recognize AHD or CVI Camera, click AHD or CVI mode.
B. Add IP Camera.
1) IPC and the video recorder must be connected to a switch in the same network through Ethernet
port.
2) For the channel mode, pull the slider between analog channel(A) and (IPC)digital channel.
Example for a 16 channel D VR: I f yo u nee d acc ess t o 10 an al og ca mera s and 6 IPC , then p ull t he slider and if click OK after adjustment. Restarting will be prompted.

3) Log into the channel mode after restarting, click Add IP cameras into the video management

Press the MENU button or the right mouse button to popup the main menu. The main menu consists of the following three parts:

5 LAN WEB Remote Monitor

5.1 Log in

Go to Main Menu System s etup Network setup (Refer to Figure 4-49)
1) Find out the DVR network “IP address”.
2) Fill the DVR network IP address to your browser address bar. Recommended to use above two browsers(Google Chrome, Firefox

Support multiple users log in different PC.
If the web port No.is revised (default 80), when input IP address on browser, port No. is
needed to input after IP address. For example, if the DVR IP address is 192.168.1.114 and the port is changed from 80 to 8000, then the browser address bar should enter http://192.168.1.114:8000
If software is unable to load at the first time of use, below setting is required on browser: “tools”- “Internet options”- “security”- “user-defined level”- start both Active X widget and Plug-In, then click “OK”.

Local Mode
8 Mobile APP

8.1 APP Introduction

Support mobile remote access. After device is connected to network, users can enter the device’s cloud ID or LAN IP address or dynamic DNS at adding device column on mobile APP, and get mobile remote monitoring.
NOTE:
1) Currently, mobile APP suppor t C hines e, Engl ish , G er man , Fr ench , Russ ian, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Turkish and other languages, the language on APP is the same as that on mobile phone system.
2) Support A ndro id and IOS mobile system (Requires IOS 8.0 or later. Compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch)

8.2 AP P Inst allat ion

1) Search the word “IP Pro” from “Google Play” or “App store”, Download and Install.
2) Use mobile phone to scan QR code in the boot wizard of device(refer to 4.3.1), go to the download page and download and install it on the mobile phone.
3) If you don't have a Google Play program on your android phone, you can also go to
Faittoo website (http://www.faittoo.com/help/) to download the android App.

8.3 Software operation

8.3.1 Registered User Mode and Local Mode

Open “IP PRO” and the Login Page would pop out.(As Figure 8-1)
Figure 8-1 Registered User Mode: You need to register your account, and then click “Login” to login. Device information will be stored on the server after login. When login the account in another mobile phone, the added device will be displayed automatically, no need to add again. Besides, Registered User Mode has functions like Device Reminder, Sending Alarm Messages, etc.
Local Mode:
You don't need a registered account. You can log in directly by clicking “Local” . Data would not be ar ra nged or saved by the file serv er so it won’t rec ov er if it was deleted. In lo cal m ode ,

you can’t use the alarm function.

8.3.2 Add device

Click the sign “+” on the right upper side, choose cloud ID, fill in recorder’s connection info, as shown below:
