Walker Handle Adjustment Guide
When the handle height of the walker is adjusted properly, the user can stand with a normal posture while wearing the footwear they most commonly wear.
Adjusting the rollator walker height is easily done without the need of tools. There will be a knob where the handles meet the frame of the walker which when loosened and removed will allow the handles to be raised and lowered. The seat height of the rollator walker will usually be fixed at a certain height and not adjustable.
While the user is standing with their arms hanging limply at their sides, the distance from the inside of their wrist (where a snug watchband would normally be) to the floor should be equal to the top of the walker handles to the floor.
Brake Operation & Adjustment
1. Pull up on brake handle lever to slow the rollator
2. Push down on brake handle lever to lock the rear wheels. Pull up on the brake lever handle to release the lock
3. Brakes must be in the lock position when seat is going to be used. Ensure the brakes are locked by pushing the rollator.
4. Brake adjustment Is carried out as following:
Turn the adjuster screw anti-clockwise to increase the tension then lock the adjustment by turning the Locking Nut clockwise while holding the adjustment screw stationary stationary.
Bake adjustment reduced to allow use with too light a pressure may be ineffective in locking the brakes and preventing the rollator's movement.
5
Attaching Your Carry Bag
Install and hang the rings of bag onto the notches of seat tube extensions. Make sure all the rings have been securely locked on the notches before use.
The shopping/carry bag will fold with the walker when empty. There is no need for removal.
Walker Tray
Your new walker comes with a tray which will allow you to carry items from room to room at home or areas where the terrain is smooth.
The tray simply sits on the seat of the walker with the four nibs protruding down through the four grommeted holes in the seat. The nibs prevent the tray from sliding off the seat.
Caution should be exercised if drinks are being transported on the tray to avoid spillage. Drinks should be covered, unopened or in containers that have wide bases.
