Use C - Cable stud to
secure G drilling Jig
while drilling pilot hole

NB !! When fitting the cable make
sure the swage on cable’s end
fitting is facing away from the
metal body of vehicle so it
does not interfere with metal body
of vehicle and scratch paintwork

Remove Cables off RHS
Placing the bracket into the
tailgate panel using the metal
rod, then once in place break
off the handle by twisting the rod.

Ensure Cables are taking
Tailgate Load and NOT the
Damper.

CAUTION:
Do not remove the red bolt from
cylinder D until fully installed - if
you do you will loose the
pre-tention.
CRITICALLY IMPORTANT:
The RED bolts must be removed
before you open the tailgate after
installation. Failure to do this will
create irreparable damage and
warranty will be void.

shown in slide 4.
Repeat slides 3 - 5 for RHS
Only now remove Red as shown.
