INSPECT (BEFORE USE)

Check that all parts are in good condition.
Use caution at all times. Proper maintenance and upkeep to the system and all Passport®
system components is vital.
Regularly check that all parts are in good condition and check the system for damage. Ensure
all fasteners and locking mechanisms are in place and tightened. If any part of the system is damaged, loose, or missing, DO NOT USE until repairs can be made by a certified installer or other qualified person.

PROPER SET UP AND USE
For residential use only. Metal conducts electricity. Do not use near exposed wiring. DO NOT USE if any part of the system is damaged or unstable. Confirm that the system is correctly leveled and positioned securely. Periodically check for
ground shifts. Only use components supplied or approved by manufacturer with system. Never use the Top Landing Gate for uses other than its intended function. Do not modify the Top Landing Gate and latching mechanism. Do not operate the Top Landing Gate latch manually while the VPL is in operation. Never block the Top Landing Gate open or closed. Keep the area around the Top Landing Gate free of debris. Do not play on or around the Top Landing Gate or attach foreign objects to the Top Landing
Gate. Keep hands and other body parts clear of pinch points at all times. Use only recommended fasteners and attachment points for anchoring the Top Landing
Gate. Call your dealer for service if the Top Landing Gate does not fully close unassisted and DO
NOT USE Top Landing Gate until repairs have been completed by a qualified technician. Properly support and restrain system in transit or storage.

MAINTENANCE
Regularly check that all parts are in good condition and check the system for damage.
Ensure all fasteners and locking mechanisms are in place and tightened. If any part of the
system is damaged, loose, or missing, do not use until repairs can be made by a certified
