Pre-installation — Jumper settings
The TP R BNC A and TP R BNC AV are factory configured to receive
RGB video. They can receive component, S-video or composite video
by changing jumper J3 located on the main board.
If using the TP R BNC AV with an older TPX 88X transmitter,

Step 4 — Power
Plug the included external power supply
into the 2-pole (TP R 15HD A) or 3-pole
(TP R BNC A) captive screw connector. Wire
the connector as shown and plug it into the
receiver. The front panel Power LED is amber
when power is present and green when signal
and power are present.
Step 5 — Set Rear Panel DIP Switches
2-position (TP R BNC A/AV), or 4-position (TP R 15HD A) switch (up = ON)
a. SOG — Sync on Green. Set this switch up for RGsB and down for RGBHV or
RGBS video.
b. C Sync — Set this switch up for RGBS and down for RGBHV or RGsB video.
c. C video (TP R 15HD A only) — Set this switch down (off) for RGB video or up
(on) for component/S-video/composite video.
d. N/C (TP R 15HD A only) — Not used.
Step 6 — Manual/Auto Switch
N There are 2 sets of switches and controls (Video and RGB) on TP R BNC AV only.
Auto provides automatic signal level and peaking
compensation of the output for long cable runs.
Step 7 — Peaking and Level Adjustments
Manual compensation for long cable runs can be made by the user
with the Auto/Manual switch in the Manual position.
Image sharpness is adjusted with the Peaking Control. Increased peaking compensates
for mid- and high-frequency detail loss. Minimum setting (full counterclockwise) is zero
peaking.
Image brightness is adjusted using the Level Control which increases the video signal
output voltage to boost brightness.
While viewing the display, adjust either or both controls for the best image quality.
