When using this accessory, basic precautions should always be followed, including the following:

NOTE: Refer to local building standards and codes to verify that the installation will meet the regulatory
requirements. Observe all local and national building and safety codes, UL requirements, and ADA
accessibility guidelines.
WARNING: Risk of Personal Injury and property damage. Do not exceed specified weight limits of any
component of the installation. Follow the manufacturer's specifications and installation
instructions.
PMP Series (Projector Mounting Poles), in 2", 4", 6", 10", 12", 18",
and 24" Lengths.
The PMP series are fixed length, projector mounting poles with 1½" NPT ends. Models 4" through 24" have a cutout section providing convenient cable access and large enough to pass a DVI connector. They are for use with
several Extron projector mounting products, such as the UPB 25 (Universal Projector Bracket), PCM 240 (Projector
Ceiling Mount), ACMP 100 (Angled Ceiling Mounting Plate), PMK 450 (Projector Mounting Kit), and the FCMP 44
and FCMP 1010 (Flat Ceiling Mounting Plates).
Installation
To install any one of the PMP series:
PRELIMINARY
1. Back out the set screw on the installed ceiling mount (e.g. PCM 240, ACMP 100, FCMP 44, or FCMP 1010).
2. Screw the pole up into the ceiling mount. Three complete turns are the minimum
for a safe and secure installation.
3. Tighten down the set screw onto the pipe.
