desCriPtion
The Hideaway® HSA 222S is a durable metal Hideaway Surface Access enclosure specifically designed to provide easy tabletop access to data and power connections. The HSA 222S offers a fixed configuration of two CAT 6 RJ-45 network/data/phone connectors and two unswitched AC outlets. Versions are available with discrete US, Australia, UK, Central Europe, Switzerland, France, Israel, or India power outlets, as well as a universal receptacle ideal for use in hotels and conference centers.
To access the connectors, users press down on the top of the enclosure, releasing a mechanical latch. The HSA pivots open, presenting the connectors at an ergonomic 49-degree angle to the tabletop.
The HSA 222S features a square bezel that can be easily installed utilizing a free router template available from Extron and a router. Once installed, the HSA 222S fits nearly flush with the tabletop, storing power and network connectors out of sight.
The HSA 222S also includes an RJ-45 connection kit for each front panel RJ-45 jack. Inside the kit, there is one set of icons for labeling, one blank hole filler, and an assortment of colored bezels. These enable the labeling and color-coding of each RJ-45 connector according to its assigned function and covering the connector when it is not needed.
The Hideaway HSA 222 Series enclosures ship standard in either black anodized or brushed aluminum finish. Polished aluminum and brushed brass models are also available. These models are built to order and require a longer lead time. Please contact your Extron Customer Service Representative for more information.
