DVI 110 Installation Guide
The Extron® DVI 110 Signal Regenerator maximizes the
quality of a digital signal. The DVI 110 should be installed
at the beginning of a cable run, near the DVI source. The
cable from the source to the DVI 110 should be no longer
than 15 feet (4.5 m). To install the regenerator:
1. Mount the DVI 110 (optional).
2. Connect a DVI input device to the input connector on the DVI 110 rear panel.
NOTE::
Alternatively, the DVI 110 can be placed in the middle of a signal path to
improve a poor quality signal.
3. Connect a display device to the output connector on the DVI 110 front panel.
4. (Optional) To maximize signal quality, connect an Extron DVI 101 Cable Equalizer to
the output cable, immediately preceding the display device in the cable run. The
cable between the DVI 101 and the display should be no more than 15 feet (4.5 m).
NOTE: For best results when you are using a DVI 101, the total cable length
from the DVI 110 to the display should be 200 feet (61 m) or less.
5. Connect the provided 12 V, LPS, Class 2, 1 A external power supply
to the 2-pole captive screw connector on the DVI 110 rear panel.
