
DPH 101 • User Guide
The Extron DPH 101 DisplayPort to HDMI active adapter equalizes incoming DisplayPort
sources up to 15 feet (4.5 meters) at the input to compensate for signal loss. The DPH 101
then reconditions the signal, ensuring signal integrity up to an additional 15 feet (4.5 meters)
from the output to the connected HDMI device.
FCC Class A Notice
This equipment has been tested and found to comply with the limits for a Class A digital
device, pursuant to part15 of the FCC rules. The ClassA limits provide reasonable protection
against harmful interference when the equipment is operated in a commercial environment. This equipment generates, uses, and
can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and used in accordance with the instruction manual, may cause harmful
interference to radio communications. Operation of this equipment in a residential area is likely to cause interference; the user
must correct the interference at his own expense.
NOTE: This unit was tested with shielded I/O cables on the peripheral devices. Shielded cables must be used to ensure
compliance with FCC emissions limits.

NOTE: The DPH 101 can be used with Extron DisplayPort Architectural products, such as the DisplayPort F-F
Architectural Adapter Plate (see figure 5 on page 4). However, it is not recommended to use more than one DP-DP
pigtail in an application.
HDMI output — Connect an HDMI output device to the HDMI output. The DPH 101 reconditions HDMI signals up to 15 feet.
