Installation and service must be
performed by authorized personnel
only. These products must be used with
UL approved, grounded electrical wall
boxes.
The Extron CTP150CM is a seven button, contact closure, remote control panel
that emulates many of the front panel functions of the TPT150 switching and
transmission system, and is used to control the switcher remotely. This guide
provides instructions for experienced installers to set up the CTP150CM.
Step 1
Select and prepare a suitable site for mounting the CTP150CM. The unit can
be mounted in wall boxes (must be UL approved), on tabletops, in an in-table
connector bay, or other MAAP-mounting options.
Step 2
Run an eight-conductor cable between the TPT150 and the site where the
CTP150CM is to be mounted.
Step 3
Connect one end of an eight conductor cable to the TPT150 and the other end to
the rear panel of the CTP150CM, as shown below.
Step 4
Apply power to all devices and test the system.
Step 5
Disconnect power, securely mount the CTP150CM, and reconnect power to all
devices.
