CVEQ 100
The Extron CVEQ 100 and SVEQ 100 are high performance one input, one output
video and audio line drivers. They are capable of driving composite video or
S-video and stereo audio signals 1000' (300 m) or more. The CVEQ 100 and
SVEQ 100 are housed in durable metal enclosures that are ideal for both
permanent installations as well as rental and staging applications where a wide
range of mounting options is desirable.

Features
The CVEQ 100 and SVEQ 100 are one input, one output, high-
n Long distance line driver – Drives video and audio signals up to
performance line drivers for composite video and S-video, respectively,
and stereo audio. They are ideal for applications in rental and staging,
auditoriums and conference facilities, commercial and residential
n Adjustable gain control – Compensates for signal voltage losses
entertainment systems, and other applications where video signals
must be routed over long distances.
n Adjustable EQ control – Compensates for loss of sharpness and
n Active audio buffering – Converts unbalanced audio signals to

The CVEQ 100 and SVEQ 100 feature independent gain and EQ
adjustments which compensate for signal losses due to long cable
runs, and offer optimum signal quality regardless of cable length. The
gain control allows for brightness adjustment by varying the overall
voltage of the signal. With the SVEQ 100, gain for the luminance and
chrominance channels is separately controlled. The EQ control helps
maintain sharpness and high frequency detail.

Both products feature active audio buffering which converts unbalanced
audio signals to balanced line level and simplifies integration of
consumer-grade A/V products in commercial or professional-grade
systems. Balanced audio signals are less susceptible to noise, and due to
the inherent +6 dB signal gain, allow for cable runs up to 1,000' (300 m).
