The DTP3 T 202 is Extron’s third-generation long
distance, digital twisted pair transmitter that sends
HDMI and bidirectional RS-232 signals up to 330feet
(100meters) over a shielded CAT6A cable to Extron
DTP®-enabled products. This HDCP2.3-compliant
transmitter supports video resolutions up to 4K/60
at 4:4:4 color sampling. For added convenience, it
provides one HDMI input with loop-through for local
monitoring. The feature-rich and compact DTP3 T 202
is ideal for discreet placement in lecterns, beneath
tables, or wherever needed to meet application
requirements.

SPECIFICATIONS
The Extron DTP3 T 202 is a third-generation long distance, digital
twisted pair transmitter for sending HDMI, audio, and bidirectional
RS-232 signals up to 330feet (100meters) over a shielded CAT6A
cable to Extron DTP®-enabled products. It provides one HDMI input
with loop-through for local monitoring. The transmitter supports
video resolutions up to 4K/60 at 4:4:4 color sampling, complies with
HDCP2.3, and features EDID Minder®. For maximum image quality
and minimal latency, all supported video resolutions are transported
without compression. The compact enclosure size and flexible
remote power capability, from either the transmitter or receiver, make
the DTP3 T 202 ideal for discreet placement in lecterns, beneath
tables, or wherever needed to meet application requirements.
The transmitter enables the reliable transmission of HDMI2.0b
signals at data rates up to 18Gbps supporting HDR, Deep Color
up to 12-bit, 3D, and embedded HD lossless audio formats. The
DTP3 output can be configured to send video and embedded
audio, plus bidirectional RS-232 signals, to an HDBaseT-enabled
display. To ensure optimal performance, Extron recommends
XTP DTP 22 cables and accessories. These 22-gauge shielded
twisted pair cables, plugs, jacks, and couplers have been
engineered for optimum performance for DTP3 products running
at 18 Gbps.
The DTP3 T 202 automatically adjusts color bit depth based on
the display EDID to prevent color compatibility conflicts between
a source and the display. Front panel LED indicators provide
immediate visual confirmation of signal presence for the input, as
well as HDCP status and power. On the back panel, LEDs indicate
signal presence and link status for the output. A buffered HDMI input
loop-through provides an output signal to drive a local monitor.
