Quick Start Guide

Using the included high quality HDMI and USB cables,
connect the Local Extender to a computer.

Directly connect the Local Extender to the Remote Extender with a Cat 5e STP cable (not included).
Solid core Cat 6 STP is recommended for best performance (refer to detailed cable information
on the back of this page).

Connect the Remote Extender to a monitor or TV with a
high quality HDMI cable (not included). Connect your USB
devices (e.g. keyboard and mouse) to the Remote Extender.

Compatibility and Recommended Set Up

This KVM extender is compatible with many graphics cards, operating systems, monitors and TVs that support High
Definition 1080p, 1920 x 1200 and 4K resolution. However, there is no guarantee that all hardware will be compatible
as there are many different factors that may impact operation.

This product complies with USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 specifications governing the design of USB devices. This product
supports USB 1.1 and low bandwidth USB 2.0 devices. Examples of these devices include: keyboards, mice, flash drives,
printers, scanners and USB 1.1 web cameras. USB audio devices (speakers, microphones) are not recommended for use
with this extender system.

HDMI Cables

Ensure high quality, undamaged HDMI cables are used with this product. Low quality or damaged cables may impact
product performance and/or result in damage to units.

Link Cable

While solid core Cat 5e UTP is compatible with this KVM extender, solid core Cat 6 STP cable with Cat 6 shielded
RJ45 connectors are recommended for best performance and extension distance. See table below.
